Sports Etc. hosted their first Goalie symposium with reps from each of the big companies to explain/demo their gear, while also having on ice coaches and stations from all different goalie schools/camps. Our daughter really enjoyed it and ended up finding a new goalie coach. A month later we needed some new gear and didn’t hesitate to make this our one and only stop. The staff sized her for a new mask and listened to our concerns for protection. After trying on different brands, we were able to walk out with a proper fitting mask that she is very happy with. I was shopping for a new glove and blocker for my son and all my usual retailers were out of stock. I stumbled onto the Sports Etc. site and it said they had the equipment. But I decided to call just to make sure. I spoke with Paul and he went to check. He confirmed that he did have the items and said he'd keep an eye out for my order. Read moreI called sports etc. directly in order to talk to them about the availability of a specific piece of goalie equipment. I placed the order online once I knew the product was available, however I ordered the wrong piece. After seeing the online order come through the sports etc. team caught it, remembered the conversation I had just had with them and then called me to see if it was a correct order or if I wanted them to fix it and send the right one. I think customer service like that is on another level! It saved us a ton of time receiving the wrong piece of equipment and then having to re-order and return the piece. ...
