UPDATED REVIEW: This place has really gone down the tubes since a few years ago. I get they're trying to cut costs, but I ordered 3 different beef noodle soups to go today, and it was 95% noodles, with about 5 very tiny pieces or beef and a few leaves of baby bok choy. Sad to say I will probably never return again unless they really change this stinginess. I looked at my pictures from my review 3 years ago (I leave them here for comparison) and today's noodles was nothing like what it was. I really shouldn't review this place because I want to keep it a secret! Best Northern Chinese noodles within a 20 mile radius at least. Pictured are beef noodle soup, lamb noodle soup, and scallion pancakes.

heavenly. these hand-pulled noodles are absolutely out of this world. i’ve only had comparable noodles once up north in Montreal at a big establishment, so the fact that these are hand crafted at a neighborhood joint is impressive to say the least. the menu leaves much to be discovered— it’s wonderfully extensive. but the spicy hot oil seared noodles are unmatched!!! thank you home taste for your no frills goodness

If you want authentic Chinese food, here’s the place to go. Had the lamb meat hand-made noodles. It was pretty alright, though I wished they didn’t add capsicums as that disrupted the taste of the dish. The noodles - the only dish I ordered - took a long 30 min to be served. Lady staff should also be sure to wash her hands after spending some time using the bathroom…; minimum $15 spend in order to use card.

Delighted by the culinary offerings at this establishment, particularly the delectable Mala pot. Despite a bustling crowd during our visit, the savory experience exceeded expectations. While the service felt a bit strained, it's understandable given the peak hour rush. The medium-spicy Mala pot, surprisingly mild, proved effortlessly enjoyable, adding a pleasant note to our dining experience.
