Very displeased with this company. Our oven went out at the end of December. We called a few days into Jan and ordered a new oven from them. The one we ordered was backordered because of Covid. That was ok with us, we could wait a few weeks. We were told it would be in the shop around Feb 19th. Feb 19th comes and goes and we hear NOTHING from arvada appliances. So I called to inquire. Well apparently there is now no date to delivery to the store for our stove. Ok, comes with this pandemic, not mad at that. Mad that NO ONE called to tell us this info!! So we pick another stove that the manager Anita said is scratch and dent but will give us a great deal. I said ok, but want to come and look at it before delivery. She said ok, she will call me when it is in the store, in another week. GREAT! Well another week goes by and we hear NOTHING, again. Ugh. So I call, again. Her response, "oh it got delivered to another store, so sorry. Should be here by the end of the week." Ugh, ok. Well another week goes by and no communication. So here I am calling again. "Oh it was delayed by the snow storm. Next week we'll have it." Losing my patience by now I tell her call me as soon as it is in the store so I can come look at it. She says ok, but let's get you on the delivery schedule so we don't waste any more time. Ok, scheduled for the following week. Yet again, I hear absolutely NOTHING from Anita or Arvada Appliances. I call the day before delivery to inquire. Tell Anita we are scheduled for the next day and I have yet to see the oven. She says "oh it looks fine, I don't see anything wrong with it." Ok but why no call? She says hold on she'll have another employee look at it. This other employee says no the handles are pretty dinged up, etc. Told Anita I am not accepting this oven and obviously cannot come to the store the day before. So long story short. We cancel the whole thing and go elsewhere, where we learn scratch and ding are rated (never given the rate at Arvada) AND we had great customer service and got our oven 3 days later. NOT impressed with Arvada Appliances. DO NOT...
Ā Ā Ā Read more6.25.25-originally a 5 star review: Great customer service by Brandon and Christian which made the purchase of a new washer/dryer set an easy experience. Lucked out and they had someone who had just rescheduled, so Iām on the install schedule for Friday which is only 2 days away-happy camper!
Update 6.28.25: wanted to love this place, and they came up short. Washer and dryer got installed yesterday. After the installers left, I started a load of laundry. Expected to come back a couple hours later to move the clean clothes to the dryer, and was instead met with a āno water detectedā error on the screen. Tried calling the installerās cell as it was only about 15 min after they closed, no answer, so I left a voicemail. Also left a voicemail at the business. Was waiting for their call when they opened at their stated time (8am) on Saturdays, called 15 min after opening, and it kept putting me straight to vm. Drove to the store (5 min from my house), waited about a half hour, and no one was there. Returned home, reported what happened to my partner, tried calling again, and that time it rang thru, but no one picked up. Since the way the phone rang changed, I assumed someone was in the store to switch it. Drove back over at 9:20, still no one there.
At that point, my partner got busy with troubleshooting, and eventually got it working around 1:30 after a trip to the hardware store. Leaving 2 stars cuz we did get the washer and dryer we ordered, but went with them primarily because of their strong promise of service and customer support. Turns out they donāt even call back (4:16 pm currently and store is closed now).
Bought a new set from a āreputableā store cuz weāre on a tight timeline with everything we needed to get done this weekend, and am disappointed that we still had to put 4 hours into making the machines work after paying a ~$200 install fee.
Theyāre friendly, seemed knowledgeable, and are good at selling, but donāt expect any sort of follow thru if...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time using Arvada Appliance because my appliance repair guy recommended. The washer and gas range broke down in a couple of my rentals, and tenants needed/wanted replacements right away. On first call with Brad, I got the sense it was not going to be a fit, but thought I'd give it a try anyway, Brad was so sure that his pricing and service could beat any other supplier in town, that sorta slick salesman vibe tends to trigger me (lol), so was not impressed on the outset.
Against my better judgment (and out of desperation) I ordered new, expensive units that were promised to be delivered and installed 3 days from the date of purchase. I emphasized to Brad the importance of getting the units no later than that promised date. Not only did they not deliver on the day as promised, they didn't even extend the courtesy of letting me know of delays, of which was supposedly due to weather of less than 0.10 inches of snow (laughable). I was assured to have them the following day, and no call, which I again had to follow up on. The reason for lack of communication and no delivery the second time was supposedly because they had my number wrong by 1 digit (the ol' oops last didlgit swapped trick). Several days later, now Friday, they get the washer delivered (still no range), and then because I've expressed frustration and dissatisfaction (professionally), they decide to pick up the washer without informing me, leaving me in a lurch, and even further delayed in getting the equipment needed. I would not recommend these folks if you are someone who relies on good customer service and care, and especially if it is a time...
