Balloon Inn — Restaurant in Arvada

Moved to the area bout a year ago & Stopped in It was very dead But I was greeted Very nicely by a young bartender, I didn't think that I would come back in (I wondered why she wanted to work at a place that was dead- She seemed extremely loyal to the owners & the others that worked there) so after having a very pleasant visit with her & feeling very welcomed by her - I decided to come back.. Each time I did she was very happy to see me again with a very pleasant smile & great personality! I have came in recently and asked the two others where she was- both times acted like I insulted them by asking- thought that was odd- She was the best bartender in there And seems so extremely loyal to everyone. the whole vibe of the place seems to have changed- seems everyone that sits at the end of the bar gossip about everyone the owner allows his wife to do the same. Unfortunate to see a bar lose a wonderful bartender, And I have heard several patron's because of that as well. If. She went to another establishment I really hope to...

This place is the worst bar in Arvada. The owner daddy Russ thinks he’s a mob boss. He brought 25 to 30 guys to the parking lot because my girlfriend and I had argument in the parking lot. He just happen to walk out and told my girl who is a bartender there that we don’t need the police and then proceeded back into the bar and came out with the whole bar and threaten me to get out of my girls car. I told him no way you guys have my truck and car surrounded. He told his crew to backup so I had a path to my truck. I then was able to get in my truck and leave from there. Only because he called his people off me. I couldn’t believe the influence he had on these people. This place is always dead as can be now I understand why. I would not waste your time going there . This place almost killed me 3 months ago and I still can’t get over it so wanted to write a review to protect others. This place waters down their alcohol (per the server) causing serious bacteria in their mixed drinks in which I spent an ENTIRE day suffering from tremors, vomiting, nausea, headaches, pain, and severe orthostatic hypotension after drinking only ONE drink the entire night. I was so ill, I hired an IV hydration company to come to my house as I feared I would need hospitalization as I am a young, healthy person who couldn’t tolerate sitting up or a simple activity such a brushing teeth for almost 16 hours, which is a terrifying experience. Please don’t go here and if you do, don’t ingest ANYTHING. Worst experience of my life and so sad, as this bar is the closest to my home and would’ve loved to come...
