Atelier Maison & Co. — Local services in Asheville

I recently discovered Atelier Maison through a friend who took me to the Cashiers store. Wow, it was gorgeous and such a fun place to browse! The furniture and accessories were thoughtfully and tastefully curated. I love that Atelier Maison sources their furniture from vendors who use green sustainable practices so the furniture is healthier. My friend told me the Asheville store is much larger than the Cashiers store, so I visited it last week. I was equally impressed with the quality and (larger) selection of their furnishings and accessories, the relaxed atmosphere, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Enjoyed an event at Atelier Maison & Co. last week hosted by the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, and saw so many unique designs that I had to bring my mother, who's building her own home, back in over the weekend to have quality time perusing, planning and shopping. I met the Design Manager and he was extremely helpful in answering questions we had about design and making future plans for our orders. I especially appreciate Sean and Laura, and their team's, focus on health and increasing awareness about chemicals in our furniture and how that may be impacting us when we don't even know/realize it. I am so excited about the entire concept of this furniture company. The idea of building green homes that are air tight and efficient goes out the window when you bring furnishings into it that are full of chemicals to fill the conditioned air. This home furnishings store is dedicated to natural and off gassed furniture, led by people who already are experts in the building and decor industry. I have worked with both owners for years, they have an amazing work ethic, have their fingers on the pulse of what is current and stylish, understand quality as well as value, and passionately give back to the community they work in.
