It’s not the technician is the company period. It started on a Friday. My service went out around 3pm called in we were on the phone about an hour. Yes you need a tech. They will be there Saturday.
Friday afternoon I get a confirmation text. I didn’t know at first it said I had until 8 pm to confirm. Well is doesn’t take 3hrs to wash dishes. I went back seen the text went to confirm it. A pop up said I was too late. This is probably around 5 /5:30. I was supposed to have until 8pm..guess what I had no tech Saturday. Call them back long story short I was supposed to get a tech Monday all the confirmation went through, texh never comes. So I went to Spectrum got my service from them back. They have good customer serve too because in my madness Friday evening I called them and asked how soon I could get a tech to fix my service. The answer was two hours. Spectrum. So it’s Wednesday now my Kinetic tech with no clue shows up to the house. He was supposed to be cancelled too..well thank you 6 days late. Not his fault. The people you talk to on the phone stink. All there supervisors are named O’Neil, Billing and tech anyway. It was a terrible experience. My internet went out every day for 6 days at around 3pm. It would last anywhere from 3 to 10 hours. There customer service is powerless and can’t get you to America. DONT DO IT. I looked on my available WiFi’s around my neighborhood nobody has Kinetic. Their internet is good when it works. They can’t service people. Glad I don’t have children here. My service was never installed right. I work 2nds so it went all week unnoticed. My service was less than 7 days old. You people that gave them 5 stars call for service. Especially if it’s close to the weekend you won’t get it. The people that answer the phone are not top notch. The Indians are better. Read moreThe Customer Service people are very kind & amazing. The door to door person lied about everything. Nothing we were promised from a $100 gift card to price lock for 2 year's has, from beginning to 6 months, all been a lie! When we spoke with customer service they reduce our bill to match the lie we were told upon signing up & now we do not have enough WiFi service for 2 tv's, 2 cell phones, our 2 cameras & my Roomba vacuum let alone if we have company! I ve called 3x in less than 6 months our bill tripled after 3 months of the initial sign up which was never the amount that was proposed then either. I am angry & switching back to Spectrum this month. Spectrum at least is honest that they aren't going to have good service unless we pay more money. Spectrum is still less than Kinetic.
