Barnone best bakery in town n county...Also love the market district homemade meals exmpl: (pot roast w/potatoes and carrots, grilled citrus chicken breast w/rice pilaf and green beans (my fav.) roasted turkey breast mash tatoes and dressing w/gravy, cabbages rolls, ect...). Saybrook Shopping Plaza feels like a reminder of a bustling past, now mostly echoing with memories. It’s a bit sad to see such a large space with so few stores, like a ghost town with only a handful of survivors. You can’t help but feel like it’s missing the energy and vibrancy that it once had. The few stores that are there do their best to hold down the fort, but the vast empty spaces make it clear that the plaza has seen better days. The young man working in the cart area was very rude, I needed a electric cart to do my grocery shopping when I asked him if he had one he said no, I asked him then if he could find me one and he just ignored me and walked away. Finally someone at the service desk was able to get me a electric cart, the shelves are always very limited or empty. Really need to work on employee interaction with others most of them act like they really don't want to be there. And start keeping the shelves...
