I am from Virginia beach VA and was in ashtabula visiting my husbands family and during my stay there, my boss ordered me doordash and I chose Toro because the pictures looked drool worthy! I was so excited when I received the order but couldn't eat it for another few hours. Didn't matter though because the quality and taste was so incredible!!! I order the chicken shawarma and it reminded me of my time in Europe and has been everything I have been searching for for the past decade! The white sauce, the chicken, THE BAKLAVA!!!!!! I have since come back home and have tried every Mediterranean & shawarma spot in the area and nothing comes close to this gem TORO!! Can't wait to come back to ohio- specifically to Ashtabula to get some TORO

I ordered the gyro wrap and onion rings. The gyro wrap was very good, the meat had a good taste and all the vegetables were very fresh. The onion rings were good, they seemed to have a Panko bread crumb type breading on them. The gentleman that took my order was very friendly and explained a few things on the menu that I wasn't familiar with. They have Baklava on their menu, it is some of the best I've ever had, it is made in a small role rather than a large pan and cut up into pieces, be sure to get a piece or three.
