Well, Pizza Hut, you’ve done it. You’ve managed to take my love for pizza and turn it into a cold, soggy disappointment—and I’m not just talking about the food.
So, I order using my hard-earned pizza rewards (because, yes, I’m loyal like that) for a medium pizza and breadsticks. The app says it'll be ready in 15 minutes for pickup. I’m there in exactly 15 minutes—being the prompt, pizza-loving individual that I am. There are two cars ahead of me, so I wait. Five minutes pass...okay, cool, no problem. Whip out my phone, kill some time, but then...10 minutes more go by. Uh oh. That’s when the panic sets in because I like my pizza to be "burn-your-mouth-off" hot.
I try to go inside, thinking I could speed things up. Nope. Doors locked. Back to the car I go. I call, but instead of talking to an actual human being, I get the automated loop of doom that connects me to some outsourced line that has NO idea what's going on. They try to transfer me to the actual restaurant. Spoiler: no answer.
At this point, I’m texting my boyfriend to complain and pass the time because what else is there to do while I wait for the mythical pizza? 15 MORE minutes pass. Finally, the first car gets their food and drives off (cue confetti). Then the second car gets their food in, like, 10 seconds. And then...finally, my turn.
I usually don’t act like that customer, but come on. I’d been in line 30 minutes. I ask the dude at the window why it took so long. His response? "Lost track of time." LOST TRACK OF TIME?! Seriously?!? I responded with, "That's stupid," and left. I should’ve added, “And so is this entire experience.”
Now, driving home, I’m just hoping the pizza is at least a little warm. Nope. Not even close. And to top it off, the pizza is wrong and just...weird? Like, what did they even make? As for the breadsticks, it’s like they gave up halfway through the cooking process—rubbery, weird, definitely not cooked right.

Read moreJohn the manager ripped me an my buddies off for 8 wings an lied about it. 1 whole order was missing an he said he was the 1 who packed our order so we were trying to get free wings an said we were lying. He was rude as hell an wouldn't refund our money either. John's the type of person to spit on your food 100% so be careful ordering from there.. He shouldn't be a manager or even work with customers because how he acts.

*3 years later and still very disrespectful and don't care about the quality of the pizza/wings or have no respect for the customer. I ordered for the first time in 3 years since "manager john" disrespected me an 8 other people for an order of $60 or more. I've seen the other reviews and realized nothing has changed an they're still the same. They need new management or to have the owner look into who he has running his business because everyone I talk to never orders from pizza hut because the disrespect an garbage food..
If John is still a manager he deserves someone else to take over his position because he is real disrespectful and can't see straight so he messes up a 16 piece wing and only gave us 8 piece, then told me im a liar and ate the food when he said he counted the wings himself... Its sadd he can be a manager and talk down to multiple people I know that has dealt with him and he never has any repercussions.. Anytime you see him he looks angry at the world so why would he care if he ruined your food or gave you the wrong amount of food..
*Ashtabula pizza hut is garbage an has been for years. Could easily be made better by having better manager and cooks that actually care about...

Estimated delivery was 25 to 35 minutes an hour later my text notification said it was being delivered It should of only took 9 minutes from this point after 30 minutes I called and asked whats going on they said they called the driver and he should be there in 4 minutes... after another 10 minutes passed which was about 1 hour and 40 minutes from placing the order they said they couldn't locate the driver while on the phone the manager said we can just cancel this order then magiclaly the driver shows up with cold disgusting food. While still on the phone. The manager than tells the driver just leave the food with him we do over 5 k in sales a day its okay if we lose his business. After waiting over 90 minutes for my food which was estimated at 25 to 35 min the manager says we can afford to lose him as a customer .. Instead of fixing the problem.
