Wow! Walking into The Power Tool Store on Parkview Road is an experience. Forget cluttered aisles and basic displays – this place is seriously impressive and genuinely stands out as one of the coolest, best-organized power tool retail spaces I've encountered anywhere in the country. It's clean, bright, and stocked to the rafters with everything you could possibly need.
The absolute must-see highlight is their dedicated Milwaukee room. Seriously, even if you aren't in the market for Milwaukee tools right now, you owe it to yourself to check it out. The layout, the sheer breadth of the product line on display – it's like a shrine for tool lovers and really showcases the gear incredibly well. It's worth visiting just for the inspiration!
What truly sets The Power Tool Store apart, beyond the fantastic retail environment, is their legitimacy and expertise. They are fully authorized retailers for all the top-tier brands that pros and serious DIYers rely on – Milwaukee, DeWalt, you name it. This isn't just some reseller; they have direct relationships with the manufacturers. Even better, they are also an authorized repair center for these same big names. Knowing you can buy the best tools and get them serviced by factory-approved technicians right here under one roof is a massive advantage.
And the staff? Absolutely top-notch. You can tell they aren't just cashiers; they are passionate and incredibly knowledgeable about the tools they sell. They offer real-world advice, help troubleshoot problems, and guide you to the right tool for the job without being pushy. They understand the demands of the trades and home projects alike. They obviously deal with a ton of the General contractors in the area, but are happy to talk shop to a regular guy like me.
The Power Tool Store isn't just a shop; it's a Green Bay institution. They've built a stellar reputation for quality, selection, and service over the years, making them a true staple in our community. Highly...
Read moreHave had two very good experiences with The Power Tool Store. First was couple months ago which my weed wacker that had its string device stuck beyond repair by me so took it around with no joy. Then saw PTS on web and decided to take on last attempt before dumping tool ... it worked good for so long, did not want to disgard unless no other choice. Well the guys at PTS were great. They unloosened the string part and then put on a new bump type device and gave me some starter string. As the guy in the tv commercial says 'who does that'. Very good experience and the people were friendly and helpful. Where can you find that these days. Give em a try, don't think you will regret it.
Now for second experience, perhaps better than first. Brother passed and I got his Milwaukee power drill. It was great and all other attempts at unscrewing phillips head from my large deck were impossible until I used his Milwaukee drill. It had a ton of sentimental value and awhile back would not charge the two batteries. I took it to a ACE hardware place that has Milwaukee stuff all over. On day when I was there asked about old drill and they said bring them in and they would check all of it out. Did so, what a big mistake, after waiting for 15 minutes for someone to help was told that the Milwaukee stuff was to old and they could not help me. On a hunch took it to PTS. They check it out and told me it seemed to be the charger the batteries were taking a charge but did not have a replacement, to old. Well I thanked them for their help, now I knew what I needed and a couple of weeks later I received my used charger via EBay and voila my Milwaukee drill is working great. Thanks PTS, again service was great, you have a long term...
Read moreI brought a Simpson pressure washer in for a warranty repair on June 16th and was told 3-4 week turnaround. After 6 weeks I called and was told they had ordered a part and were waiting for delivery. Two weeks later I called again and was told they didn’t know when the part would arrive. I then called the store I bought it at and they agreed to replace it as defective. I called Power Tool Store and told them I didn’t need it repaired and would pick it up the next day. Because of an injury my wife went to pick it up. They were extremely rude, said they couldn’t find it, said we picked it up yesterday and then when they did find it were again very rude and refused to help my wife load it in the truck.
This is the worst service I’ve ever seen and will never return to the Power Tool Store. I gave them two stars because they were decent when I brought it in but that was a 40ish age employee and today it was a barely 20 something employee with a severely bad attitude. I would recommend looking elsewhere for tools and repairs if you are in the market for those things.
I will never go back and all my friends and relatives will here if...
