New Village — Local services in Atlanta

Now known as BOLDEN VILLAGE APARTMENTS!! Do not rent from these people. I seriously think that because of the area, they treat the tenants at this property with no regards. Not to mention how insulting it is when they lie. It's seriously disgusting. There are so many problems here. The main issues are the AC and leaking and also mold. The roaches are not as bad as they used to be. They don't keep the place clean. The stairways are so dirty and smell awful. One building collapsed and the ones that are inhabited are rotting. The wiring in the back of the units are all over the place. They just recently increased the water fee and returned payment fee to $100. People can barely afford rent and bills. They do not fix anything. I have been here living with my man for a few months and still waiting for my requests to be done. The person who owns the property is rude AF. He is never cordial to the tenants. I'm sure that this place needs to be inspected because of all these violations here. AC doesn't even work in our bedroom and we had to buy a portable AC. Worst place ever.I dont know where to start.Maintnance is poor(whenever they can keep one)The property manager is messy,She is also on probation for for fraud &she steals your money,she lets her crew brake into your cars & apartment and watches it on the camera and talks about it through the neighborhood.She lets her family and friend live for free and take your hard earn money and spends it for her own good.She also takes personal information and file taxes on you and gets credit cards in your name etc... She also has a close friend (play play cousin)that so calls work in the office who is also a criminal for forgery and poss of a firearm &etc that rambles through your files and expose your personal all across atlanta.Every owner is always from out of the united states so you can never complain to anyone.It would be a nice place if it were different owners within the states and get rid of the garbage property manager.Its alway people like this who gives black people a bad name& uses your name and take your livelyhood from you and you dont know until...

This complex is incredibly filthy and infested with roaches as of May 2024. The complex refuses to demolish or repair 4 of the 8 building which were burnt down years ago, AND now act as temporary housing for rodents and random homeless people.

The management company doesn't return phone calls for maintenance request and they do not have an on sight office to accept complaints or maintenance request.

This company also conducts shady business by putting non liability clause in there lease that says you CAN NOT with hold rent, even when they are at fault or neglect resident repairs.

AC/HEAT was out in my unit two summers and the heat was out for a full winter. The company gave us the run around and finally sent an unqualified repair man, that completely screwed up the wiring to the point that my neighbor controlled my furnace. Then it worked for two weeks before breaking down AGAIN.
