The Original Sleepy Potato — Restaurant in Atlanta

DO NOT GO HERE! I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! I have NEVER had such a horrible experience at a restaurant! I visited Sleepy Potato for the 2nd time and will NEVER return! After ordering my food I observed a man, who I later learned was the co-owner, in the grill area with a outdoor coat on and no gloves stick his bare hand into some food, grabbed some out and placed it into his mouth!! It was absolutely disgusting!!! When I told him I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund he became extremely rude to me.  After I expressed my dissatisfaction with his explanation of who he was and what he could do he still did not change his attitude.  At one point he talked about my personal life and after learning my name (to provide my refund) called me a minion and made other rude comments.

There was however one female associate that stepped in to assist. She was understanding and apologized,  however she did mention to the man that she has told him about doing that. Now to me that means this isn't his first time and definitely will not be his last.  Though I paid with a card she could not figure out how to refund the card she gave me a cash refund; however, the damage was already done! I plan to report his egregious and unsanitary behavior to the health department and will never return! I strongly urge you not...

The reason for the 3 stars is because I ordered online and I went to pick up my order about an hour later and they said they hadn't checked the online orders although I paid online and it have me a time to come pick up the food. When I get there they were very nonchalant about the situation as if they were not bothered. The response to me was we didn't check it but we have other orders that are now in front of mine. They asked what I wanted to wait. The food is very good but this is one of the reason it is hard to support small businesses if they can't first have good customer service. I want to also explain that I have ordered from here once before and the order was ready when I got here but this was another person in the kitchen and they did not seem to have the same enthusiasm about their customer service. After I waited another 30 minutes my order was wrong. The young lady that was coming was very kind but this is just bad business. I had to wait another...

I go to this place often and to be so disrespected was upsetting. I ordered a salmon potato added shrimp and spinach among other things. I waited for 30 minutes which is usual, I got home and I was missing the spinach and it only had white cheese on it. I looked at my menu and it does not specify it just says cheese but I order the same thing every time I go and NEVER just got white cheese.

I went back up there which is a 30 minute ride and spoke to the cashier who was wonderful but the gentleman who was cooking was rude, disrespectful, refused to listen, talked over me and refused to fix a new potato nor refund my money. I paid $26.60 for the potato. After going back and forth with him he decided to give me my money back to get me out his face.

I feel for as much as the food cost, the service should be better. I felt embarrassed and humiliated in the store.
