Worst example of management ever! I wish I could rate it a negative number for the negative experience. Went in on Aug 15th to place an order. Saw a special listed for the wings - buy one, get one free. Ordered that and a three piece meal. The cashier called the manager over for help to input the special properly. He came over and when he saw what it was, he told me in no uncertain terms that the special was no longer going on. To which I replied, that if the sign is up and I'm allowed to place the order, it should be honored. He said that it would not be and what did I want to do? I asked for his name several times and he refused to give me his name. As a manager, he should not be afraid to give his name and he should honor their specials that are posted. He told me it was over and would not be honored. His behavior sets the tone for his entire staff and customers. I cancelled my order and will not patronize there again. A man should be able to stand on his word so if his word was no, then he should have been proud to give his name. And to not at least try to accommodate a customer, he has shown that he is not management material either. I took pictures and video of this foolery. Today, Aug 24th @ 12:20pm I received a phone call from someone from Popeyes. He didn't tell me his name initially but wanted to know what my complaint was. When I asked him who he was, he said Anthony and then I asked what his position was. He stated that he was one of the managers there. I asked if he was the manager there when my incident happened on August 15th at 11:15ish. He said he didn't know and what did I have to say? I realized it was the same man and I am very upset that he was allowed to call my phone when the complaint was against him. What is that about? If you don’t have a item a customer wants, they should be able to replace it with something of the customer choice for equal value of a paid order. Not what choice the store chooses. The store didn’t have the fish sandwich I paid for, the driver called and ask me did I want a chicken sandwich. I responded with a refund or just replace it with something else of equal value that I wanted. I was told by driver they lady was very rude to her and said she can’t replace it with anything but a chicken sandwich. I then called the store to be verbally abuse by a young lady over the phone (The Manger) at that. And was told by her just report her she don’t have time to explain or talk to me and hung up in my face. I am afraid my food was tampered with due to how rude the store was. I was missing 1 PEICE of chicken and I don’t know if she spit in my sides. I don’t want none of the food AT ALL. I wasn’t there to watch her finish my order. Read moreI was there for lunch (to go) got back to the office only to find out my 2pc meal.......was a 1 pc..👿 Called to the cleveland ave location & spoke w/mgr Brenda. Explained what she apoligize about my meal being screwed up & invited me to come back for the correct meal. Arrived around 430-5.......no chicken ready really👿. She explained that it was chicken cooking & I would be taken care of. Then turn around & tell one of the packers to give me some chicken that was sitting in a box waiting to be completed with hot chicken. I said I would wait for 🔥 chicken. The mgr tells me that it would be 10 mins before its up....I said I'll wait then she says you may not get the chicken coming up becsuse of the orders ahead of me! 👿 My thought as a returning custmer to correct the mess you made at 1pm.....you would make my replacement order with the 🔥 chicken coming up to get the customer with the problem out as quickly as possible. But the manager made sure I did not get the chicken and told me I would have to wait another 12 mins for the next batch.
