It was my (first) time selling, and let me tell you, I' am very disappointedâŠThe staff was very friendly, and up front and honest about what Rag-o-ramma would accept and take and what they would (not), the REAL problem was waiting on a Tuesday 1:45 pmâŠthen having to wait in line for (2) hours to be told THIS!! Also don't be fooled!! While I was looking around during this time I noticed ALOT!!! Ladies and Gentleman DO NOT bring in clothes with collars and BUTTON down shirts!! They will (NOT) buy any of themâŠdressier shirts thats a NO!!! While I do understand that this business certainly has to accommodate its consumers (BEST) on what is considered FASHION or at least what can be SOLD very soon or FASTâŠ.please be more RESPECTFUL of a person's time as well too!! I had time to look through the store and see that you are a lady from sizes 2through about 8 your are in good company, anything after thatâŠ.well (lets just say) there are options, but be prepared to stay and look a while, even thenâŠGOOD LUCK!!
Mens's ((If you like sneakers and sneakers, and more sneakers, with a side of some t-shirts, with 2nd rate coats, and shirts you are in LUCK.. Some nice jeans, but mainly in ((REGULAR )) sizes 30 to 33 in the waist at the most 34 in the waist, ((IF you are taller than 6ft)) wellâŠGOOD LUCK with that as wellâŠ
The prices are ((JUST too HIGH)) I mean with respect to YOUR nameâŠ..RAG âŠand I emphasize the word RAG O RAMMAâŠâŠYOU are a âŠGGâŠ..which means you are a GLORIFIED//GOODWILL!!
There was a lady in front of me who brought in (2) clothes baskets full of items, and they took (1) TANK TOP!!
Are you kidding me??
Listen, just be glad this is only (1) person's opinion!! Look at it this way, you'll NEVER have to worry about me coming back...
Read moreThis place is very shady. I brought 3 pairs of shoes to sell and basically they told me they only was able to buy one of the pairs. But this is the kicker, when they told me the price they wanted to buy the shoes for i denied it & just asked for my shoes back, the girl at the counter told me to wait so she can go get them. 30 mins go by & im like okkkk where is the shoes ??? I go back to the register & clearly the girl was afraid to tell me they made a mistake so she just let me linger around in the store until i came to them (which is very odd lol) So i go ask them whats the hold up & they basically said they lost the shoes !!!! (im pretty sure they sold them lol) mind you i was only gone 2 hours because they told me to wait when i gave them the shoes to price them & theyâll call me when the shoes are ready. When the girl explain the mistake they made of course i was frustrated & told them how unprofessional that was & to see if we could find a solution. While in the middle of that conversation another employee (maybe the supervisor yikes) interrupts the us & basically tells me how i signed the paper & that basically by doing that its nothing they could do (which is understandable) but the issue was she then goes to say âYea you should read before you sign thingsâ in a snobbish tone. I remained calm through all of this but i was very frustrated & didnt understand that girls problem. Especially because YOU ALL MADE THE MISTAKE & SOLD MY SHOES. I really hate to be typing this because i had plenty of good experience...
Read morethe pros of this place are good. the employees are super nice and i can always find clothes that i like.
but they donât outweigh the cons. if you want to sell your clothes here, donât. they are super selective about clothes and the criteria for their selection is extremely vague. itâs a literal crapshoot and the reward is that you get 30% of retail worth in cash or 50% in store credit. in my opinion, not worth it.
they also need to change their return policy. the return policy is you can return within two days, which is an extremely short window. i think itâs fine because i love extremely close to rag-o-rama, but if you are someone who lives far away, the window is very inconvenient. additionally, if you do return clothes, you donât actually get a refund. you get store credit, which is a shady way to get you to buy more of their clothes. you donât get your money back. they will always have your money. the only reason why i hate the return policy is because they donât have their dressing rooms open, which doesnât make sense because no one wears a mask or stands 6 ft apart. if they were open, i wouldnât care about the return policy as much. however, you canât try on clothes. you have to eyeball it and hope it is the fit you are looking for. if not, too bad because you canât get a refund.
my suggestion is only shop here when they have their dressing rooms open again, but donât sell your...
