I really do love the crystals I got when I was there. However, expect to be drowned with the energies & attitudes of what I've come to know as 'trendy spiritualists' who you can feel are downtown frequent locals that assume they are top form empaths. It was offensive on some level and I'm hard to offend. Especially when the young girl next to me all exaggerated jumped back like my aura was a pollution cloud. I temporarily took 10 minutes outside the store in respect to the intense flow of a whole shop of extremely powerful high-vibration life forms, as crystals are. I was there all day and was the only one who did that which made me realize... A lot of who you will cross paths with there are not as empathic and openly feeling or connected as they like to seem. Yes, I'm of shadow integrations specialty, and look more on the funerary side. I'm a Scorpio Rising + Moon and my left hand is a prosthetic claw inspired by that, but when you actually feel me it's a bunch of Pisces stellium that is very tender and letting go and going with the flow. My magickal community friends elsewhere have picked up on that like instantly and approach me first much of the time. You will probably be judged here by appearances by people not very aware they are not very aware. I love and bless your shop and your staff and customers. Yet the review will be honest and grounded. Possibly helpful if you can learn from what seems the bottom of the underworld to untrained eyes that got into it for a witchtok side hustle. I get that city life is hard, all life is suffering, in essence equally. Yet after, I left with the positivity of the crystals themselves and the cashier was a good experience as I blocked out the dagger stares from the woke trending witchtok customers that knew essentially nothing. I wish I got the cashiers' name because she put you up to two stars instead of one. I took away that the downtown expertly cool looking city setting is not my wavelength. Too much smog and abrasive static in more than one dimension. No shortage on fronting and assumptions. Statues of the deities that are my wavelength will still be for sale there. Kind of off-putting. What good is awakening trend without authentic equality? With love and...
Read moreSadly, I had a very bad experience with the staff of Crystal Blue today. I arrive a few minutes after their OPEN time, yet the store was dark and the closed sign was still up. I double checked that they were, in fact, supposed to open at 11am. Now, granted, we all run late sometimes... I'm a shop owner myself and I know how difficult it can be to open on time. At about 11:15am, I noticed signs of life inside. I could see a woman making her way around the store to turn on lights. I knocked on the glass to let her know I'm waiting to get in. To me, I would think your first priority would be to let your customer in and to apologize for your tardiness. The lights can be turned on while your customer is having a look. She made some kind of gesture and mouthed a few words, but being on the sidewalk outside I couldn't understand. I pointed to my watch as if to ask, what time will you be opening...? Then, the woman gave me a gesture that was easier to comprehend. No, not the middle finger, but one equally as uninviting. Ultimately, I was let in and a second person came to the front to "greet" me. I drove a very long way to come to this shop, and I came within business hours! I came to purchase items for spiritual growth and wellbeing. Unfortunately, I was met with anger and negativity. If you believe as I do and take spiritual wellness seriously, these crystals and other items will absorb the negative energy from its surroundings. I'm sure the owner of the shop would have liked to have my purchase,...
Read moreIn the beginning it was a very pleasant shopping experience towards the end is where it went wrong. Under no circumstances should there be five people standing behind the register and only one person working especially since it's such a tiny space. And your employees sat there and stared at me for a good two to three minutes before one of them had enough sense to say we'll be right with you ma'am and even then I sat there for another 5 minutes before anyone even attempted to ring me up. As a business owner I understand having new employees in training because that appeared to be what was going on but everybody should not just be standing behind the register twiddling their thumbs or looking lost that looks really bad. When I finally got rung up the young man who was assisting me seem to be unsure of himself..dropping my items on the floor and not knowing how to bag them properly. The associate who was ringing people up next to him seem to be a little irritated with him constantly asking questions about how to use the little computers you guys have for registers. I drove all the way from Newton County to visit your store to get some specific items and was disappointed with the visit. I have previously shopped at the store that's why I was so confident in driving so far just knowing in my heart I would have a pleasant trip but that...
