I love supporting local business and Island Produce makes it so easy and even a bit exciting. All of the employees are very helpful and friendly and the owner is especially nice and dedicated to providing local veggies and veggie-based foods to the community. They have varied, fresh, local produce available as well as many meat substitutes that you just can't find in the supermarkets around here. Plus, so affordable! They have lots of spice blends, spreads, and other niche goodies, too + basics like pasta. I always find something new to try! Also, the hot and iced coffee are both delicious! I can't believe I never found this place before! We have a medically fragile relative, and I am currently not going inside stores. I pulled up, explained the situation, and an exceptionally kind employee helped me by picking out my produce inside the store and ringing me up so I wouldn't have to go outside. We got the best watermelon, blueberries, peaches, tomatoes, and local ice cream. The young woman who helped me was even will to photograph the interior so I could see all they had. I love this place the first time I have ever stopped here, I pass by here everyday going to work so me and my girlfriend decided to stop here and see if they had tomatoes amd boy we were shocked at the different varieties they had and all their products are bought directly from farmers that's the way it should be less dependent on the government!!
