Sunrise Market (IGA) — Local services in Au Gres

Hometown market that has friendly, local, employees and is always clean and well-kept. The aisles are always full, well faced, and full of friendly staff. The deli has lots of great choices and most of the time there are 3 live person checkouts! Thats more than Walmart. If you look a little you'll find huge savings on certain items that make up for the extra you have to pay on others because Walmart bought every one China made so they got a deal. I came here and saw an employee in the deli was actively puking and asking to be sent home but his boss kept telling him no, saying that they didn't have enough staff for him to leave. I came back a few days later and asked the people in the deli about what happened to that employee and apparently he was fired after calling off sick. I guess they've had multiple people coming down sick and some of them tested positive for COVID!
