Doug & Dan's Gaming and Hobbies — Local services in Auburn

Edit: I actually reviewed this store when it was fairly new to the area, and I gotta say it got way better. The owners are just as sweet and experienced as always, and it has gotten so much better decor. Walls used to be white, some areas used to be empty. Now? It's got a gorgeous color on the walls, colorful stickers in the window and little plants preparing to be hung by the window. So many more shelves, things ranging from figuring paint and cute 3D printed models all the way to a closed-off rentable room for D&D and official pre-release stuff for Magic: The Gathering. I have said this before, will say it again: This shop is the best one I know of in the area. Keep it up!

Amazing game store with a great variety and lovely community! They've currently got games such as MTG, D&D, WH40K and a few other small items for games such as the Pokemon TCG. It's not just cards they sell either. They have a wonderful artist who makes stickers, play mats, cute stuff like "dice jails" and legit so much more. They also have snacks that are really cheap to buy, not to mention a $10 "Snack Card" program which lets you get 6 snacks with the punch card, saving you a good couple bucks. They put your empty card in a jar and draw for a special card at the end of the month that has 25 free snacks. Last but not least, they are currently building a rent-able room inside the shop for D&D / WH40K campaigns. It's going to have a TV you can connect to remotely, some connect-able speakers, a table designed for such games and a few other things. 10/10 shop,...

If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends -- or make new ones -- and play MtG, Pokemon, or other card games; if you're looking for a place to play 40k, or Blood Bowl; if you're looking for a place to buy minis, and paints, and brushes, and dice, and all the other things geeks need? Doug and Dan's is the place for you!

They're LGBT+ friendly, kid friendly, and just all around friendly. I often go just to paint and hang out with friends not planning to buy anything, BUT they always have a model or something I need for...

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They actively work on ensuring there is a safe and welcoming enviroment. If they don't have it on hand, they have gotten to me quickly and affordable. Support your Local Game store over Amazon exploitation.

Expect mild changes for the better, especially for running TTRPG's but they have a strong and fun set up for Magic...
