Swanson Diamond Center — Local services in Auburn

I would 100% recommend anyone to use Swanson's. 5 years ago my (now) husband and I went engagement ring shopping here with a college student budget and a specific design in mind. Some of the other places we went to tried to up-sell us, but the people at Swanson's were extremely knowledgeable and helped us find something in our budget - never trying to show us things out of our price range. A few years later we went here to buy my wedding band, and despite coming back 3 times and trying on every band in the store in budget (literally) they never lost patience or tried to show us something we couldn't afford. Then back in November, I completely distorted by wedding band after closing my hand in a door at work. We now live in Atlanta and are no longer on a college student budget, so for a previous (less extensive) repair I went to a high-end jeweler in the area. Not only did they treat me poorly because my ring was "smaller" than what they typically sell (my husband had no issues when he took his Rolex in for repair), they completely ruined my ring, and told me the only way to fix it was to melt it down and have it reconstructed. There was no way I was going to them for this more serious repair. After visiting several other jewelers who could not do the repair, we made the 2.5 hour trip down to Swanson's to see what they could do. Not only were they able to repair my ring without melting it down, but it looks EXACTLY the way it did when I first bought it, and they were upfront about the cost, which was extremely affordable considering the work that had to be done. For all of our future jewelry needs, we are more than happy to make the 2.5 hour drive for the quality products and service that Swanson Diamond...

Trust me when I say this place is the ONLY jeweler you want to go to in the Auburn or Opelika area. I'll keep this story short but I've used them for a few minor things over the years and had nothing but genuine experiences. It had been almost two years since I had stopped by. I went back last week and immediately without giving my name or anything they recognized me and even remembered the item from years back and were excited to see me (and no it wasn't some expensive memorable item). If that doesn't show you that they actually care and are in business for the right reasons I don't know what will. They won't speak over you, try to push you to buy anything, or treat you unfairly. They are just simply amazing, do GREAT work, and have the most reasonable prices in town which is just icing on the cake. Love them and you won't regret taking my advice to stay away from everywhere else...

My fiancé and I brought a 20 year old wedding ring set to Swanson to get it resized and cleaned up. The results absolutely astounded us! The jeweler told us when we gave it to them that the rings would look brand new, but we weren’t expecting them to look as amazing as they did! You seriously would think the wedding ring set had just been purchased. I noticed that they even made the prongs symmetrical (notice that two prongs on the right side were previously closer to each other in the before pic). We certainly appreciate the eye for detail that these folks have as well as their excellent customer service! Swanson Diamond Center will be the only jeweler we use from now on....
