I hate having to give this place three stars because I want to give it five. I LOVE the staff here and come here at least once a week. The prices are great and the selection is awesome but again, it’s the staff that has me coming back. However, the other day when I cam in I signed into the rewards program and I used my husband’s phone number too. My husband cane inside and told me that he got a text for a free joint, GREAT! I took his phone and went in to make my weekly wax purchase. I was being helped by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member as usually when (apparently the store manger) comes up to an employee helping a customers and says super loudly, “Is this the person with the free joint who has her husband’s phone?”. I immediately recognized he was talking about me and said that I had my husband’s phone. He then started to embarrass me by loudly explaining that I couldn’t bring in my husband’s phone and that’s not how the system works and how it’s cheating the system. He admonished me for bringing in my husband’s phone and while he was doing this people were turning to look because he was being so loud. I told him my husband couldn’t come in because his ID was expired and that there was no way he could come in in the next 48 hours and that the text would expire. He said he’d help me out just this once but that I couldn’t abuse the system again. He left and I was completely embarrassed. I finished my shopping and waited a few minutes for him to bring me whatever he was going to bring me. The reality is that he wasn’t going to bring me anything and instead went to socialize with a different employee. I finally went over and called him and he finally gave me a hand written card for a free joint but it immediately wiped off when I put it in my pocket. I left feeling completely embarrassed and not wanting to go back. I did decide to go back and when I did I had staff members coming up right and left to profusely apologize for THE STORE MANAGER’S behavior. Why are employers having to apologize for their manager making a scene and embarrassing customers. I almost didn’t want to come back but the staff here really is the best. I told one of the staff how my free joint card got ruined and she took care of it as I should expect from the amazing staff. Read moreWas a Select Cliq fan, they were built well and they used all the oil and a gram could last 6 to 10 days depending on how hard you smoked. Unlike the cartridges which last three and leave oil in the bottom that can't be gotten to. For someone disabled who really needs to watch their money The Cliq was really a godsend however all good things come to an end. So I had to try and find another one I've had other pods that really did no better than the cartridge as far as economically burning. Picked this up 2 days ago. The battery's a little expensive at 35, however the pod was only 27. Really good flavor and so far pretty comparable to the Cliq. Seems to be burning as economically as a Cliq, 2 days into it and appears it'll go for another four at least. They also seem to be priced about the same as well. Staff was really helpful as well as finding that my point hadn't been being added which was able to help offset the cost of the battery which was really great. Hopefully I won't have to be looking for another pod set up anytime soon pretty pleased with this. I came into their Aurora location and I bought some resin crumble and I asked the lady standing next to my bud tinder with strawberry blonde curly hair while my bud tinder went to the back,if they offered a medical discount on rosin she said we do at our Colfax location I said yeah I go there a lot she said"we actually encourage you to go there" I was thinking how rude,the reason I was at the recreational store was not so I could pay more for less selection (they only has 2 varieties of crumble left) and so I could get told basically that my business was unwanted and I should go elsewhere but it was because my car is in the shop ! Did you ever stop to think maybe someone is having a bad day and that's why they came in for some relief ? Trust me lady as soon as my car gets fixed I will be heading there first thing or maybe even a different dispensery all together !
