A True Peruvian Gem!
From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. This restaurant is an authentic taste of Peru right in the heart of the city!
We started with the ceviche, and wow—incredible! The fish was unbelievably fresh, perfectly marinated in lime, and topped with just the right amount of heat. Every bite was a burst of citrusy, savory perfection.
To drink, we had the chicha morada, a beautiful purple corn drink that was refreshing, lightly spiced, and not too sweet!
The empanadas were golden and flaky on the outside, warm and savory on the inside. You could taste the care in every detail, from the perfectly seasoned filling to the delicate dough.
And then came the mango mousse… it was divine. Sweet, creamy, and topped with just the right amount of tropical flair. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
The service was warm and welcoming, and you can tell the staff takes real pride in what they do. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience.
Five stars all the way. Can’t wait to come back and try the Lomo...
Read moreAs a proud Peruvian, I was very disappointed with my experience here. I ordered chicha morada, but what I got looked and tasted like iced tea. When I mentioned it, the guy at the counter insisted it was chicha and claimed they don’t even have iced tea in those cups. Instead of just checking or trying it himself, he made a big deal about contacting the person who made the drink only to later confirm that I was right: it was iced tea.
He did replace it with maracuyá, but the problem wasn't just the wrong drink, it was the way he tried to make me feel like I was wrong. When I tried to explain how uncomfortable it made me feel, he just walked away.
I spent over $100 and expected better. If you're not Peruvian, be careful, you might not get what you actually ordered, and your feedback might be ignored.
On the bright side, the kitchen ladies seemed kind and welcoming, which made the front counter experience even more...
Read moreIncredibly delicious food and a great atmosphere! One of the best Peruvian food dining experiences I've had in my entire life. I'm a local to the area and know Peruvian food this delicious is not easy to find without driving far from the Denver metro. Alpaca Chasqui just had it's grand opening yesterday and it was everything I had expected and then some! The chicha morada was out of this world. The lomo saltado was cooked to perfection on a wok and I haven't been able to stop thinking about how delicious the entire dish was. The music playing in the restaurant were many Peruvian classics that have been stuck in my head for days. I highly recommend this location if you are searching for great Peruvian cuisine in the area. It will not disappoint. I hope this location becomes a staple in the community for many decades to come. I will definitely be...
