100 STARS! I'm a pedicure perfectionist and my experience with Jade was AMAZING! I have tried at least 20 different spas around Austin and they all fell extremely short. There's nothing worse than paying good money for a pedicure and walking away unpleased. After reading all of the 5 star reviews I decided to give Amor Spa a try - and I'm SOOO HAPPY I did!!! I'll be a regular customer now and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you want the best Mani / Pedi available in ATX book it at Amore, here's why:

Environment: What I appreciated most about the Spa environment was the smell. When you walk in it's a fresh relaxing smell. Every other nail salon I've been to smells like toxic chemical when you enter and I hate that. I love that I didn't have to deal with that at Amor. Their staff is extremely professional, friendly, and also spoke English. They offer a huge selection of complentary drinks. They'll even offer you small candy while you're receiving your treatment. The vibe is very relaxing. No blaring tvs or music like other places. It's definitely more relaxing and had subtle relaxing spa music. It's quiet and easy to fall asleep to during your service.

Service: I booked the Paradise Pedicure with Jade and it was worth every penny. Jade was AMAZING!! Before she started she really took her time to ask me a few questions to make sure she understood exactly what I was hoping for - in terms of the shape, length, and color. She didn't rush through it like other tecs do. When I wanted a very specific base coat color she showed me a few options to make sure I had the exact match. I’m a runner and struggle with ingrown nails. They offer specific pedicure services to treat this. It’s hard to find a nail salon that knows how to treat them during a pedicure. Jade specializes in alleviating ingrowns and completely fixed my sore areas without causing me any pain. I watched her sanitize everything before she started and she didn’t cut me at all. Their massage chairs are newer & massively oversized - so you had tons of comfortable space to sink into. The massage chair has a ton of different pressure settings so whether you prefer gentle or deep tissue it'll hit the spot. The chairs also don't have a wall directly behind them which I appreciated. I was able to recline much further back than most places. If you want to really lay back, relax, and get comfortable it's easy to. All of the treatments were great, the massage lasted quite awhile and I was almost asleep after, very relaxing. I love french tips and Jade got it perfect. Again, she took the time to fully understand the shape and thickness of the french tip line I wanted. Other places will rush through and the line is either too thin, too thick, not shaped well, uneven, doesn't complete all the way to the entire edge and it's upsetting. But Jade is a perfectionist and will leave your nails looking Instagram worthy. She's also super sweet and newer to Austin so if you go in to see her be sure to give her a big ATX welcome and tell her your favorite local spots for her and her husband to try.

Pricing: Their pricing is very reasonable for the amazing luxury quality service that they offer. Their pricing is the same as other salons in Austin but what you receive is so much better. They also respect when you tell them what service you’ve decide on. They won’t hound you or try to guilt you into an upsell like I’ve experienced at other salons. I’m really disappointed to be writing this because I’ve actually liked this salon for a long time. I’ve even left a good review before, and I drive all the way pflugerville just to come here. But my experience on October 13, 2025, around 5:30 PM was absolutely terrible — and no one should ever be treated the way I was. I went in to get my wedding nails done: a white almond French tip manicure and a solid white pedicure. I showed them a picture and asked how much for both. The lady told me $85 total, and I even asked her twice to confirm. She said “Yes, everything.” During the service, Nam did my nails and did an amazing job — he took his time and made them perfect. But my pedicure was awful. The woman doing it cut me, kept smudging the polish, and had to redo it three times. It was so uncomfortable, and everyone who came in after me finished before I did. By the end it was around 7:40 PM, and she was rushing just to finish. Then when I went to pay, they suddenly told me it was $130, not $85. I explained what I was quoted, but they started arguing and even called the lady who gave me the price — and she completely denied what she said. I asked them to pull the surveillance video (with audio), since my sister heard the whole thing too, but they refused and started making excuses. Things got really bad — they laughed at me, took pictures of me, and even threatened to call the police when I wouldn’t pay the extra amount. I was crying on the phone with my husband while they just stood there laughing. They told me they’d refund my money and send me the surveillance video, but since then, they’ve kept changing their story and still haven’t sent anything. It breaks my heart to say this because this used to be my favorite salon, but I will never come back. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially when all I wanted was to feel special before my wedding. Today my daughter and I went to get mani’s and pedi’s before heading back home to Houston. We chose this place bc it was close to our hotel and had no wait time. I now know that this is not a good thing. The gentleman who did my manicure did an excellent job even when his co workers were showing him videos on their phone while working on my nails. The woman who did my daughter’s nails was awful. Did not use a base coat or top coat, just put applied 2 layers of nail polish that literally came off less than 2 hours later. I asked her if she was done as she walked away after the 5 mins of work she couldn’t care less about. She said she was then I requested a manager. Then the lady doing a pedicure across the hall got involved. I expressed my concerns with the person’s services and she denied not applying a base or top coat, I sat next to my daughter and saw everything. I again requested a manager and the pedi lady yelled out across the salon to the person at the front desk to come over. I told them that their lack of professionalism and accountability was unacceptable and told them we will not be doing our pedicures with them. The ‘manager’ did offer to redo my daughter’s nails, but I declined. They were all speaking another language and the lady (although she was not ladylike at all) that served my daughter was clearly talking mess about us to the other techs. On top on this, they also keep all the nail brushes in the same container. The used and the clean brushes in the same container, intertwined at the hand washing stations. Not hygienic at all.
