La Mexicana Market — Local services in Austin

This is one of the few taco locations open at 6:00, which is important when you work construction.(early starts)

Now if you advertise that you are open at six, you should be prepared to "open at six". But not this store.

The taco portion of this market rarely has more than one or two choices of tacos prepared at six. This is as they say, "no bueno". It's frustrating to say the least.

How can we rely on a market that can't (or won't) prepare for their customer on a consistent and reliable basis?

If you want a decent choice of tacos early in the day, this is not the store for you. Check back in around 9:00 and see...

( Food area )is the worst food I ever try!! No taste, No fresh, the ladies who are cooking they have not idea what they are doing! I went there 2 times and both times I got so disappointed!

First I bought tamales and they look and tasted disgusting. The second time I bought 2 huaraches and a torta, the huaraches they look good but they forgot to put meat on it, and the torta was terrible!

Other than that the store is okay! Hopefully their manager get better cooks or at least teach them how to...

Pretty crowded every time we have gone, prices are a little high on items you can find anywhere. We usually just go to send money to family in Mexico, but almost always we have to wait in line, and depending on the cashier working the kiosk you either get a rude attitude with a side of them messing up and blaming you, or you get attitude with a side of I don't care. Only reason we go is because it's one place the dollar...
