Kb Contractors TX, LLC — Local services in Austin

We have yet to encounter more difficult, unorganized, and unprofessional contractors than KB. We were originally given an estimate of 3 weeks which turned into over 2 months. Supplies was not an issue, it was the follow through and having a crew here to work.

There were 3-5 day gaps where no one would show up to work and calling the GC was the only way to get them here, who also doesn’t return texts or calls until a day or two after. There were several instances where we were given dates of completion for unfinished projects. They would not show up on the day or communicate the reason or reschedule unless we called. One of their workers has also come by our house looking for unpaid wages.

Our project was just finished (incorrectly and after their last message confirmed completion 2 weeks ago) yesterday after starting in early November. I get if issues come up and obviously there is consideration for worker safety and health, but there was ZERO communication about changes to schedule or project.

KB Contractors did an exceptional job completing our backyard landscaping project. Not only in the middle of winter, contending with rain, ice, wind, and freezing temperatures, but despite all that they were able to get our yard done on time and on budget.

Kelsi and Matt were wonderful to work with, always responsive to any questions and concerns we had. They came up with creative solutions as needed, and recommended additional elements that complimented the initial design well. They brought our vision to life, and made us feel like we were appreciated and respected as their clients.

I am thrilled with my experience after hiring KB Contractors. Kelsi, her leads and her hands were all incredibly helpful and responsive to every question and concern I had along the way.
