I'm the type of guy that will do a ton a research when I finally decide to buy something. In this case I was shopping for a dash cam for my work van. I narrowed the field after deciding on the specific features I thought I wanted. Had to be HD, have GPS, maybe have front and rear cameras, wifi would be nice, something small. I spent many hours on YouTube watching videos of reviews of the many brands ranging from the very inexpensive to the outrageously priced. I finally narrowed it down to a few manufacturers that I felt met my needs. A little more reviewing and I decided on the Blackvue DR650-2channel system and decided to get with the Power Pro adapter so I could have the camera work even when parked. Now the search was on to find one. Again I started in the usual places like Ebay and Amazon. Both had them in stock, but I felt they were a little high priced. Back to the web to do another search and I came upon The Dashcamstore. They not only did they have the lowest price, but their info on the unit was way better than anyone else selling the same unit. Sometimes finding the lowest price is not always a good thing, but that was not the case here. The Dashcam Store provided the BEST customer service by answering every email I threw their way and even answered a question on Thanksgiving day! NEW Update: A driver from the next lane swerved into mine and hit my car. Her first words were, "You hit me!" I responded, "I have video," which stopped any further argument from her or her insurance company. My dashcam had more than paid for itself, so after the collision repair, it was time for an upgraded dashcam with the latest features. Although I have a deep technical background, The Dashcam Store are installation experts, so going back there was an easy choice. The store is still clean and pleasant but even more comfortable than I remember. As before, the installer communicated clearly and worked quickly. It was another totally positive experience. The importance of a good dashcam cannot be overstated, and for something so crucial, this is the place to go.
