Play It Forward Games — Local services in Austin

This is a charming FLGS with dedicated regulars and staff who were very welcoming. After speaking with the proprietor of the shop, it seems like there are some good changes coming that will make this an even better place to come discover a new game or play some that you might know well. They cater to their demand, like they should, so there's a lot of Magic, D&D and Pokemon, which are perfectly good games that may (and frankly should) whet your appetite for gaming and check something new. There is also a good selection of Board Games and other little funsies as well.

On 8/12, we were connected with one of the store's roving DMs for a fantastic introductory one shot of D&D 5E for my oldest and another person new to the universe, and a nice refresher for me since it has been some time since I last played.

This card shop is one of a kind! With ever changing ideas for stock to carry that broaden the scope of different communities, having friendly regulars who always are open to teaching, and being inviting to different scenes of players who will always have a preferred skill level to jump in with, it sure takes the cake as the best southern MN game store. They host many events that are open, as well as encouraging others to get DnD, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulu, etc. groups to gather. I never have an issue with the staff as they genuinely go out of their way to find cards or answer questions no matter how insignificant. They have started to carry many more products that range in price so everyone can find the essentials in their price range. My new personal favorite are the draft nights/pre-releases. Always...

got to the card shop with high hopes and 40 dollars in my pocket for yu gi oh cards. this crappy shop had no yu gi ho and only MTG cards. this card shop is a MTG meatrider express. I just wanted a dark magician girl deck. even tho i wanted to play yu gi oh i had to play MTG. when i got to the table everyone called my chun li card sleeves gross. they had a few stains but they were fine. they told me to use different cards but i had enough, releasing my dragon rage. i stomped out of the card shop and the employee had the fricking audacity to say have a nice day.
