Georges Pizza — Restaurant in Austin

My wife and I when in town usually stop almost ever time we are in town to eat at Georges. We have often visited family there and treated them to excellent pizza. This time it was just my wife and I we ordered the bacon cheeseburger and a order of cheese bread. The cheese bread was excellent and the waitress was very nice. The pizza came to the table and the outer edge with the crust was good. The inside area was real greasy. We didnt want to say much and asked for a box to go and when trying to put it in the to ho box there was pudding grease. My wife mentioned how the bacon was very fatty. She usually doesn't say much about this kind of thing. We drove back to Rochester and on the way back I thought as a very repeat customer to call them and see what was up and hopefully give them a heads up so they can correct if possible. I asked for the manager and explained I didnt want anything back just to let them know to better things if possible. I got the real impression it wasn't a person that cared and while explaining our issue he started a conversation with someone else while...

We ordered a Margherita pizza, and it was bland. The sauce tasted like fat-free Chef Boyardee ravioli sauce, and the crust was so thin we found ourselves asking, "Did we just eat, or are we still thinking about eating?" Thankfully, I remembered my emergency floor banana in the car—it was more filling.

The server was robotic, treating us like machines. They dropped a water pitcher at our table and walked away, never once asking how our food was. The interaction was cold and devoid of any feeling.

The pizza took forever to arrive—so long, in fact, that we ended up asking for it to go because we didn’t want to spend another second in there.

check out the new lighting at Georges Pizza My husband and I paid for these lights, and delivered them in December Georges Pizza signed the "rebate" to us on the invoice, however, when they received the rebate, they kept it. So they got new lights from us, plus more than 1,000.00!

My husband (of 41 years) died very suddenly and unexpectedly in March. I could sure use the money. I won the law suit against the business, but they choose not to pay me. There is a lein against the business, but that doesnt help me much.

There is another great pizza place down the street. They also have new lighting. They got their lighting for free, and we got the rebate, as it should be.
