We were in town visiting and picked this for our lunch based on the reviews and menu. It seems to be the place to go for locals, it was pretty full even at 2:30pm. The food is what you would expect for a brewpub type environment, lots of bar favorites like fried pickles and cheese curds. They have some dishes with spam too. We had the spam pineapple sliders which were very good. I had the BLT with tater tots which was also good and quite large, not too greasy. They have probably a dozen beers on tap, too. We did wait a while to get served and sat for about ten minutes without menus hence losing a star for that. The parking lot is a little small as well. Would I go here again? Hmmm there isn't a lot in town but I would probably try something else for lunch unless I wanted the bar food offering.

Dropped by B&J's Bar and Grill in Austin, MN, and let’s just say with a name like B&J, I was expecting some extra special sauce on the menu, if you know what I mean! Food was pretty decent, though, and those spam sliders? Hell yeah, they were yummy as heck! Everything came out cooked perfect, so no gripes there. The Bloody Mary bar was legit cool—tons of stuff to trick out your drink, which made it a party.Only buzzkill was our kid’s milk was spoiled. Yuck, right? But they swapped it out fast, so all good. They do slap on a credit card fee, but that’s just how restaurants roll these days. Fun spot, I’d hit it up again!

Average bar food on the Sunday night we came. Restrooms very clean. Cheese curds very delicious, especially with ranch sauce. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, get the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It was the saddest looking meal I have seen in months. Philly cheese steak was small for the price i paid.

We stopped in on a Friday night for drinks and dinner. Since it was a beautiful evening we decided to sit out on their patio. To make a long story short, after waiting about 40 minutes for our food, we questioned where it was. Our Server said they were slammed with customers and our food will be out soon. We thought that was odd bc people that came in after us already had their food. After waiting another 10 minutes our food came out, but one at a time with about 3 minutes in between before the next person got their meal. I asked our Server if they always piecemeal food orders for the same table as they did with us. She immediately asked us if we wanted to talk to a manager, and we said, sure. the Manager comes stomping out stops at our table and asked very rudely what the problem is. We explained how long we waited and then it was all piecemeal once it did come out. He had absolutely no time for us, he said he had a waitress in the back crying because we asked if she always piecemeal food to the same table and he didn’t appreciate us talking to his staff like that ( so we’re NOT allowed to question anything) Mind you, he’s very agitated with us. He said they were slammed with customers and the easier orders go out first! So as he goes huffing back into the establishment he is mumbling to other customers about us! My BIL got up and went and looked inside to see how busy they were and they had 3-4 booths with people otherwise it was empty. So our only guess is that all the customers they were slammed with got served, paid and left before we got our food! Since the manager was so ungodly rude to us and mumbling to other customers about us, we will never go back in there! The service was very, very poor! For a manager to be that rude and disrespectful to their customer should not be in a service...

I can only speak from the brief time I was there. A group of about 10 of us stopped out after a long work shift. Not being from the area, we were not certain of closing times kitchen etc. We sat outside and found we had arrived too late for food. In fact they were hopingvto close soon. But, our server was super sweet and hooked us up with a round of beers popcorn and food local recommendations since we all really needed to eat. I actually was starting to feel hangry and emotional. I actually didn't think she had heard my drink order. But she most certainly had, and even quoted me. I should note, this place had been super busy all night as well due to a huge event in town. We made it out of there in time to grab some dinner at another local place, but some of us plan to be back another time in the future. I'd give them 5 stars just for service alone on this night. The outdoor patio was a really pleasant hangout...
