The Bakery Lounge — Restaurant in Austin

Went for my birthday, 6 of my friend and I included. We got a drink then all went to the bathroom and took some pictures, after we exited the bathroom we had two bouncer or employees tell us to “get out”. There was no reasoning behind this, I don’t know if we took too long in the bathroom? But I didn’t know there was time limit for people to use the bathroom? They did not even let us exit out the back door they made us exit the front door and go around. Again no reasoning to us being kicked out and we were so confused, bouncer were so rude for no reason. It's about as ran down as the patrons and menu is. If you like deadbeat concepts and poor service then this is the spot for you. But if you want something else that doesn't serve the same menu as the other pizza restaurants in town then well travel outside of Austin for diversity and creativity cos this town has next to none. Ofc alcoholism is terrible but that doesn't stop most bars from overselling customers. What I experienced is the same recklessness that will be all bars undoing. Sadly the owner will see this and think about the negative aspects of my experience hardly ever is an owner open to criticism for the better much less...

We were abruptly and rudely asked to leave the bar by one of the staff members. The employee’s approach was not only unprofessional but also embarrassing, as they yelled at us in front of other patrons, making us feel uncomfortable and disrespected.

We felt the situation was handled with a complete lack of courtesy and respect for us as paying customers. The way we were treated was completely uncalled for, and it left a very negative impression of this place.

I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and address the behavior of their staff so that future patrons don’t have to endure the same kind...
