I am so incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience we had at One White Lane. I had gone to two appts earlier in the day elsewhere, and after feeling pressured and unheard by salespeople all day, in addition to consistently being put in dresses that were well over budget, was feeling a bit defeated going into this appointment. But from the moment we walked in the store, I was confident that my dress was in there. Dania is not a salesperson. Not once did I feel like she was pushing me into dresses or in a certain direction. First, Dania sat me down and discussed everything from my likes and dislikes to budget and alteration costs. I told her that while there was wiggle room in the budget, I was fairly certain I could find something I love at my price point and that I was willing to search for it. She LISTENED to me, and truly cared about choosing dresses that worked for me personally. Well, I asked and she delivered. She knows her dresses like the back of her hand. She has a wonderful selection of dresses at various price points. First she grabbed a few of her own picks, but she also allowed my sisters and me to take a look through some of the gowns. This was something that was strictly prohibited everywhere else, and really made you feel more involved in the process and like you were able to “shop” for your dress. And not only did she allow us to choose some to try on, she was straight up about the price of each one the second we had it in our hand and was not afraid to tell us whether it was in budget or not. It made it so easy to just move on to the next one if it wasn’t in budget, rather than being brought a dress to try on and having to decide whether you want to waste more time waiting for a stylist to pick something else, or risk putting something on that’s over budget. Dania handled my crazy entourage with grace and professionalism, even when my mom whipped out the inhaler because of all her crying LOL. We smiled the whole time we were there. I ended up choosing a Sophia Tolli dress that I am absolutely in love with. And, it ended up being a dress that I chose myself because she allowed me the freedom to take it all in and see for myself what I might like. I found myself being drawn to a specific section of dresses, and I just knew in my gut my dress was on that rack. Unbeknownst to me, she had just had a trunk show for that designer and was willing to lump me into the trunk show sale to save me some money, and also made the extra effort to utilize my mom’s address to save some money on taxes. She could have very easily just let me pay full price, knowing that I had no clue she just had a trunk show. She also did not have to check addresses to see what the taxes looked like, but she did. I cannot explain how much that meant to me and my family, and I am eternally grateful for her kindness. I’m not sure if this is a review for the bridal shop or Dania anymore, but it’s essentially one and the same. At the end of the day, One White Lane is a MUST for your wedding dress shopping experience. I wish this the the only place I ever went. We will be bringing my sisters back for their dresses too, and I will refer anyone I know to her as well.

Edit after the wedding: The alterations process was easy, the seamstress was very knowledgeable and my dress fit me absolutely perfectly the day of. Like I don’t think I touched it once to readjust a single thread. She re-did the straps probably three different ways to make SURE they didn’t fall down. I never would have even thought about that, and now if I see brides whose straps are falling, I feel bad that their seamstress wasn’t so particular about each and every detail! She made sure the bustle was easy for my bridesmaids to handle but also beautiful. I ordered my gorgeous veil from the shop, and the pricing was really good compared to what some bridal shops charge for accessories. One White Lane is a MUST for your wedding...

Dania at One White Lane handled our changing plans (due to Covid-19) with extreme professionalism and personalization. Whatever we needed, she provided it quickly, personably, and professionally. I highly recommend Dania to any bride-to-be!

Dania at One White Lane was incredible to work with! I met with her for my first (and only) dress shopping appointment, and she rolled out the red carpet for my mom, sisters, and I. Her boutique is beautiful, elegant, personal, and intimate, which exceeded my desire to try on dresses in a place where I felt special, while not being a "spectacle" for other families and passerbys. Dania made me feel comfortable and didn't rush or pressure me to find something I liked, while still answering all my questions and helping me try on different style gowns until I found the one! She even setup a FaceTime call with my Dad once I found my dress, so he could share that moment with me.

The dress was excellent quality and the one we ordered was exactly the quality and design we were expecting from what I tried on at my appointment.

When the pandemic made it impossible for me to travel for my dress fitting, Dania went above and beyond to mail the dress to me - even mailing a second dress, so we could compare sizes and find the best size match. The dress size was exactly what we expected, but the first one we ordered ended up being to big because I had lost some weight between when we ordered it and when I tried it on.

My mom ended up doing the alterations to the dress (modifying the bodice to fix gaping (big hips, small chest), adding lace for modesty, hemming, and bustling), and Dania's seamstress, Lisa, FaceTimed us on multiple occasions to answer questions and walk us through the best way to complete the alterations. Dania also arranged for extra fabric to be sent to us to add to the bodice of the dress. Dania stayed in touch throughout this whole process and was a dream to work with! I knew that she was always accessible and would be a joy to talk or text with - no matter the issue or question. Her credibility and professionalism eased any concerns we had about fit, timing, alterations, and mailing the dresses. She worked wonderfully with my Mom and made sure she wasn't stressed about the alterations by ensuring we could talk with Lisa whenever a...

I can’t say enough amazing things about the staff at one white lane. I would easily recommend this shop to anyone looking for their wedding dress. They are all absolutely incredible, kind, knowledgeable, and really make you feel so welcome during your entire appointment. My initial appointment was with Abbey and she was absolutely fantastic. She listened to exactly what I was looking for, and gave me so many options and suggestions. Her knowledge of the dresses, the materials, and price point was everything I could ask for. She didn’t put me in a dress that was out of my price range like so many other places, she didn’t make me feel uncomfortable for having a service dog like other places in Pittsburgh, she didn’t ask my loved ones to sit outside with my service animal like others and Pittsburgh had. She was kind, and understanding and personable. She even went as far as to book me another appointment, so that my out-of-town Mother could see me in my wedding dress and get the full experience together. They have been so accommodating through this entire process as well as the alterations and making sure I get exactly what I want. If you are looking for not only your perfect wedding dress, but an amazing experience with a bridal staff…This is your place! I would fly across the country again to work with this team.
