Dollar General — Local services in Aynor

I don't know why I'm giving any stars, I suppose because there are many other Dollar General stores I've been to. However this store was terrible, disorganized, etc. But I bought a bag of candy, something to snack on in the car (long ride back to Lake Wylie, NC). Additionally, they charged a fee of 35¢ for a literary contribution? She didn't ask me or anything, however I questioned the amount of change I received, she quickly said, "I know its terrible, they keep taxing everything, don't they"? She was very odd and eating something, and taking with food in her mouth. I didn't look at the receipt until I got in the car. My husband said I should've just ask for my money back, but I just didn't want to deal with the cashier. Also the bag of Skittles was definitely over-priced, almost $4. I enjoy couponing. Every time I visit a Dollar General, the coupons do not come off, only one or two. I had a nice enough cashier, possibly mngr, that overrided them today. Normally the cashiers don't care to see you save, so I don't care if I leave my items with them to put back. I was hoping since I saw the app updated, that the coupons would read better, however, if it wasn't for the cashier/mngr today, I would have left my items once again. Please fix your problems with your coupons, or maybe just go back to paper. If you don't care for us to save at your store, then why should we care to shop...

I went to the Dollar General in Aynor SC. The lady at the register was over run with customers. I feel like she should have requested for help running the other register. The line was so long that my crippled mother couldn't stand any longer. Therefore I had to leave the merchandise that I had in hand to purchase for me, I had to put the items back. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. The Isles were full of new products that needed to be stocked on the shelves. Just a big headache. Family Dollar does't operate that way.
