Waffle House — Restaurant in Aynor

We stopped in for a quick dinner on our way back home from a business trip. We were greeted and were kimdly informed the bussiness was short staff. We chose to wait and so glad we did! Despite having a full restaurant and only 3 staff members, we were assisted with politely and in a timely manner. The momment we sat the down the waiter took orders of people who were ahead of us and the cook was pushing out orders in such a clean and efficient system! I was fascinated by their clever and cool attitude to the circumstances! When our order was taken, the waiter was sure to explain the delay, and we were delighted by his work ethic and understanding attitude. He took our orders and continued making his way to the other tables! Our food was perfectly delicious! Our cups were always full, and our minds were taken away by their positive attitude towards their work environment and greatly appreciated their service! I believe the cooks name is Tyler! The food was great, our waiter is where our problems are, his name was Jessie, Jesse, Jessy he spelled it differently each time on the receipts and first he didn’t ask my gf what she wanted to drink, next he was handing me my eggs and I moved my vape off the table so I can sit the eggs down and keep in mind I never hit my vape at all while I was in there and he told me that the managers would call the cops on me if I vaped I was dumb founded, who even says that to customers all he had to do was ask me not to vape and leave it at that, he also gave my gf a plain waffle instead of a blue berry waffle, he didn’t bring my friend his grits and my friend has to ask him where his grits were, also he didn’t bring us any syrup for our waffles and didn’t bring our mayo and has to ask for that again to get our mayo, he also never came to refill our drinks. Another waitress had to come and ask if we wanted a refill, for the most part he just looked lost and confused and didn’t know how to talk to customers and couldn’t spell his...

Good food at fair prices,waitress was exceptionally friendly and helpful.......was a little cool inside,ac definitely works.......having to update my review after my visit last night........we were in town and while we were getting fuel noticed there was no one at the waffle house and decided to go eat there.....for the 10 minutes or so we were at the gas station there were NO cars or people coming in or out of the parking lot,so imagine our surprise when we walked in and no one there except 3-4 employees,yet EVERY single table except one was full of dishes or something showing they hadn't been cleaned.....the music was BLARINGLY loud and sounded more like a playlist off a cell phone than the jukebox.....the whole time we were there our waitress was face planted on her phone and totally oblivious to us .....at one point sitting on the counter where the waffle makers are with her feet propped up.....if this is what waffle house is becoming I WONT be coming back to...
