Did not care for Kidman's 'bedside manners'. His attitude was like I was inconveniencing him. When we talked a couple of days before on phone he said that if it would make me feel better go to the ER and get an ultrasound, which I did. But when I saw him in person he denied telling me that, not that he didn't remember telling me that he denied it. And when my husband and I wanted a referral to see a blood specialist for a 2nd opinion he was like 'why, you just have to let the bruises go away on their own' and showed me his phone with pictures of his bruises.
I hope he doesn't treat all his patients like this, otherwise your going to loose a lot of patients from this practice.

Read moreNot impressed at all. Supposedly MRI was ordered. But still waiting to be contacted. Also, in extreme pain and nothing was done to help alleviate any of it. I am relatively new to the south coming from the Northern VA area and I am absolutely amazed at the difference in quality of care you receive in the two locations. Northern VA seems to care a lot more about helping their patients and doing so in a timely manner. Anytime I needed a CT or MRI it was scheduled within a day or so and when dealing with pain there was always an attempt made to help reduce the pain. So all in all I am very disappointed with the care one receives...
Read moreDr. Carmichael is amazing, his staff is top notch, however, the phone System for CMC is awful. We used to be able to call the office, now you cannot. The system will ask you to press one to get a call back, it does not work. I was on hold for longer than I should be, did not get through on 2 tries, it’s awful. Two different days. None of the employees know how to get to the Director of the Hospital, don’t know who works where. The phone system is a mess! If patients can’t call the Hospital, they go other places for care. Sad...
