I came in as a last ditch effort looking for sterile packing strips for a wound from a cyst that was infected, I had tried calling many pharmacies, and walking into a couple others. All medical supply stores are closed on the weekend as well as the primary care doctor, I even called the urgent cares in Farmington and Durango. So I came in as a last ditch effort to try to take care of my wife the way our doctor told me to. I understand that they didn't have what I needed and couldn't give me any advice since they weren't the ones to treat it. The lady at the front reception with the curly hair (sorry, I didn't catch any names) was patient and understanding to my plea, however, there was a second woman that overheard what I was asking; and when I told her what was going on and what our doctor told us I needed for my wife, she laughed at me and said "you don't need to do that," and walked away. She laughed at me. That was completely unprofessional and uncalled for, she was not the doctor that treated my wife, she was not there when the doctor performed the excision, she did not have any clue of what was going on other than what I stated I was looking for. I am trying to take care of an infected wound and cannot find what I need to do so, and to have someone laugh at me, as I'm obviously a little distraught because I can't find this simple thing needed for my wife was degrading. You don not treat people that way, especially when you have no idea what is actually going on aside from a quick...
Read moreI do not understand all the bad reviews. I went in on Thursday afternoon, due to vomiting blood. The front desk girl was quick and got Carrie to come ask me some questions to determine if I could get help there or head to the hospital in Farmington. Carrie was so kind, and comforting, and told me that they'd see me. I waited less than ten minutes, and they got me back. Alicia took me back, did all the blood pressures and things like that, she was also very kind and made me feel more at ease.
Dr. Patrick Ely was the provider when I was there, and this is the first time in my life that I've been comfortable with a doctor. He listened to my concerns, he got me nausea meds right away, and had me stay to make sure they were working.
They even called me this morning to make sure I was feeling better. I am seriously very pleased with how I was treated. Unfortunately I am back to not feeling well tonight but I will be glad that I have someone I can go to tomorrow to make me...
