The Aztec museum is really outstanding. We were really surprised at the amount of items they had in this Museum. The items dated back to the 1900s up to current time. And what was really surprising was the mining community set up in the back of the museum that you can tour. There's also a caboose from a train that you can go through and explore on your own. These are not guided tours you just walk at your own pace. The museum is handicap-accessible. There is free parking in front of the museum. Read moreThis place was so interesting and great the! the staff was really friendly and went above and beyond for me and my family. there's tons of antiques& history but my favorite part of all is that the buildings in their Village were actually the real buildings from whichever developing town they were from in different eras. they were just relocated to the Aztec museum for display. this place is under advertised and I don't think it gets as much credit as it deserves. And the cost per person is way more than reasonable.!! So if you're interested or even just have some free time on your hands I highly recommend...

No for real tho this place is legendary for that. They shoulda left the mannequins up, that was probably the best part. No matter what time of the day or what day of the year it was, even if it wasn't decorated for it, it was always halloween at the Aztec Museum with those there, making it the most amazing Museum in existence....
