Blackstone Entertainment LLC — Local services in Azusa

I've been producing in Los Angeles for five years (at the time of writing this review) and have been working with Blackstone Entertainment since their inception. There is a reason that five years later and fifteen films produced that I've hired them on nearly every single one of them. They are hands down one of the most reliable shops in LA, able to do everything from source rare, hard to find equipment to staffing shows. Their location being outside of LA doesn't hurt their ability to work highly efficiently within the city limits either. They're one of the few companies to offer and coordinate truck and equipment pick-up/drop-off if your show doesn't have enough resources to do so (and sometimes they'll just do it to make your life that much easier and save you a few bucks!)

I recommend Blackstone Entertainment to every single person who asks for recommendations and often times without them...

Don't let the location deter you, Blackstone is everything you could want in a studio space and more. As an Inland Empire based production company, I've been looking for a shooting space devoid of the crazy traffic, long commute, and general sketchiness we've all come to expect from shooting in LA. Blackstone is super clean, spacious, and highly professional in regards to pre-set rigging, electrical, and studio management.

Half of Blackstone is a rental house, so any lighting and grip you need can be ready on set when you arrive- no need to make a run out to the valley to pick up a truck. Plenty of food options nearby, responsive on-site studio owner, great air conditioning, and a quiet set in a safe neighborhood; I honestly can't see us going back to the city/valley studios ever again.

Blackstone had my back on a job at the last few weeks of the year a production I was working on didn’t have a plan for the production or grip truck but I was so glad I had Adam’s number from black stone from prior times working with blackstone. We were filming in the IE and I knew blackstone was gonna be close to the filming area so I called for a Hail Mary and Adam answered swiftly and was able to get me situated with parking for GRIP truck and the Production truck saves me and the truck pa sleep and unnecessary time on the road, because of Adam and Blackstone , we were able to safely get to our jobs and securely park our trucks you guys rock and I recommend them for everything.
