Sprouts Farmers Market — Local services in Bakersfield

I'm shocked at how not busy this place is. You can get some great deals. You just have to really pay attention. I love the bulk bins and the fact that they have cute little burlap sacks to use for reusable sustainable shopping. I suppose my biggest complaint is their lack of sustainable cleaning supplies. They didn't have Bronners concentrated Sals Suds ( But they had plenty of Dr. Bronner's 's. Castile soap over in the bath section) Everything is in plastic and when I last went there they did not have the Eco wash laundry detergent sheets. The laundry detergent sheets are the reason why I went in there. It comes in a little cardboard box and each sheet is good for one load of laundry but they don't have them here. They only have laundry detergent in plastic jugs. Maybe they have gotten some in since I last went. I'm not sure. The seafood looks fresh. The produce is beautiful. They have some exotic choices in coffee. I absolutely love the fact that you can get raw milk and cheese here! I will shop here before I will shop at Walmart for produce. Sprouts cashier put meat tightly into one of those reusable bags with other items and it started bleeding onto my strawberries after the plastic edge cut into the meat packaging and other fruit. Spilled out of bag had to disinfect my countertop and car seat. Washed watermelon so I was able to save that one. Still bled all over my stuff. Disinfected the rest of it as well.

Gonna go there later today and ask for a replacement

Went there had to waste gas and my time I got replacements after talking with the manager but still very inconvenient I’m frustrated used up an hour and gas money not satisfied about that.

Cashier needs to learn...

I will not be returning. This store is worse every time I go. The produce is not fresh and has mold or over ripened. The deli has many lazy employees. Usually there is one really good employee doing everything and two ignoring you. When the bod ones make a sandwich they make it as if you forced them to do their job. There are always carts and boxes blocking the walkways. Most of the samples are not set out. No one is friendly any more. They act like they don't want to be there. I bought food that was bad when I unfreeze it. I will not be returning to this or any other sprouts. There are way better stores with better prices and...
