House of Wings & Boba Drinks — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I really used to enjoy coming over here to get my family and I a good boba smoothie but man have they gotten expensive! They've raised the prices enormously it's insane. It's more than a gallon of gas. $3.49 for a regular size and I paid almost $6 for a stinkin' large which wasn't even as large as the other places I've gone to. They tack on more for extras as well. Bring cash if not they'll tack on another fee! Card fees! Ridiculous.

I'm never coming here again. I'd rather wait to get my boba fix when I'm down south. Seems like when something becomes popular here in town the business owners thinks it's okay to rip customer's off. You know if you want to keep your customers happy this is not one of them. They just lost my families business. They're not even the greatest boba cafe in town anyways. They don't even have a wide variety of flavors. In San Diego boba cafes they have a plethora of flavors. It's a good thing I know another place to get some good boba and not for the cost of gas prices here in Bakersfield.

I love wings so I thought I would give House of Wings a try. My first thought walking in at noon is nobody was there. I should have taken the hint. I ordered wings and fries combo for a total of 17.49. I thought, maybe these are really good. I usually get my wings without bbq sauce on them. Upon receiving I noticed these were unseasoned. I was on Panama wanting a smoothie before I headed back home to Arvin, I stumbled upon this place by accident and didn't expect much. I literally just enjoy drinking something while I'm driving longer distances. I ordered a Thai tea smoothie with boba, and as I walked out and took my first sip, I was amazed!
