My sister was on my phone plan and recently purchased a new phone from this location. We explained to the sales person guy that she was going to travel internationally in a few days and she wanted to make sure that she could use the phone in another country. He assured us that the phone could be unlocked in 14 days but after trying to see if she could sign up for an international plan elsewhere, she found out that she had to wait at least 180 days for the phone to be unlocked. This caused my sister to have to return the phone so that she could buy an unlocked phone elsewhere. Not only did she not receive the full refund back due activation fees and because he claimed that there was a fee for sending the phone back to Houston, but I had to take my sister off my phone plan and sign up for a new phone plan for my own line. Not only did my sister not receive her full refund, but I was charged $27.69 to change my plan all because the male employee didnāt inform us correctly about the metro policies for unlocking a new phone. I requested to be signed up for the $60 phone plan, but upon logging into my metro app, I discovered that the guy sales person had proceeded to sign me up for the $70 phone plan instead. I felt deceived and taken advantage of. Everything about this experience was quite a headache...
