Rice House Express Dallas — Restaurant in Dallas

I saw this restaurant on FB and thought, "Wow a new restaurant on Beltline, looks really good!" Decided we'd try it,, after looking it up,, realized it was about 10 minutes from the house, another WOW!!! Called in the order and preceeded to head that way, suddenly, I realized it was the joint inside the Shells station,,,, uuuugh!!! I had been there at least 3 times, so not extremely bad but not that good either, but I had called it in and wasn't going to stiff them, so I continued on...With I wouldn't have, as I write this, I'm still feeling like I'm going to bring it back up...yuck!!! I had the Chris fried rice, and wifey had the Hawaiian fried rice....double yuck!!! A bunch of teens running it, no problem there, but they were pretty disorganized. Several irritated folks waiting,,, must have seen the FB adds as well....The food looked nothing like it did on FB...I could say so much more but I won't, all I'll tell you is that it was edible. Our first experience here was great. Our second experience here was not. First, the guy on the phone wouldn't let me order Chris rice which is a menu item. I'm still not sure why, it was just weird. I was told the delivery would be 65-75 min or less. That's a bit to wait but we were excited to have a Chinese restaurant that delivers by us finally. Well it took 2 hours. When I called to check on the order at 90 min, I was dismissively told my order was onThe way (never asked what my name was or what I ordered, just immediately told me it was on the way). Well either that was a lie or my order sat in this guys car for a half hour before it arrived. The food was luke warm at best. No apology or anything given. Men will be men! I get it beauty before beast! I don’t have that hour figure shape, but unfortunately that was exactly what I felt was most important. I walked in absolutely no one in line, not even in subway area! I walk up to counter as the worker was walking towards counter from the booth he was sitting at chit chatting with another employee! Greeted me, then a young very well blessed young woman was approaching the area, and he asked are you picking up she said no, he said first time here she started talking to him in Spanish. I know I should have said ok, n waited because I absolutely love their food but today I just wasn’t feeling being put at the end of the line because I was clearly there 1st! Soooo...
