My son would be alive if I chose a different office. My first appointment they didn't take my history of misscarriage seriously. Flip flopping between dr. Laundry and Judy each appointment I was never taken seriously. They treat you like a number, will not take your concerns seriously and anytime I asked questions I was met with "it's because you're pregnant". At 24 weeks pregnant I flipped my vehicle multiple times, no doctor came to the hospital and when I went to my next appointment they didn't even know I was in an accident an refused to give me an ultrasound. The first and only time I was dr. O was the day of my 35 weeks appointment where I found out my son had passed away. Dr. O was asking ME why I hadn't received an ultrasound after the accident (they gave me ONE ultasound my whole pregnancy) as he would have ordered one and really any doctor that cared would have after being in an car accident that serious. He also informed me of things they found on my 18 week anatomy scan THAT NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT! 35 weeks gestation my son passed away and they advised me not to get an autopsy as it would be a wasted effort and after talking with other Obgyns who said that was ridiculous I feel like it was another way they pushed me around. This was 3 years ago almost but I doubt they have changed their patient care. Then after a week they had me come in for my post natal visit even tho it's supposed to be 5-6 weeks out from delivery. I know all this now after having my second son who's pregnancy was high risk due to an anomoly that my first son most likely also had with competent doctors who listened to me.
Updated review: I now have 2 living children and it has been almost 5 years since Tillian's passing. STILL HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED CARE AS TERRIBLE AS THIS OFFICE. PLEASE DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL NOT CARE ABOUT/FOR YOU AND YOUR UNBORN BABY WILL BE AT RISK!

Read moreI moved up here from downstate (downriver, Detroit area). I saw the reviews and was kind of nervous to come here, but I figured I would give them a try. It's also the first time for me seeing a male obgyn. That may sound strange, but I've just never felt comfortable doing so. I had 3 children before coming here, and I started coming to this office for pregnancy. I believe I started coming here in May of 2023 and had my baby in October of 2023. I have never had such a good experience with an obgyn office. Dr. Oravitz takes his time with you and ensures to explain things over and over in different ways, if needed, to ensure you understand. He has great bedside manners and truly cares about his patients. There were several times when I needed an urgent appointment, and he made sure I was fit in. He ensured I felt comfortable and had my own input in all of the choices that were made with my care. The receptionist staff were all great, as well as the aids. I only saw Dr. Landrey 1x but he was awesome as well. Alyssa (not sure if spelling is right) was always there for me to call with any questions or concerns in between my appointments (which I called her more than a few times). When it came down to my emergency c-section, Dr. Oravitz was unable to be there due to another surgery he already had scheduled. My blood pressure was through the roof with pre-eclampsia, and I was terrified that I was going to die. Dr. Oravitz actually called me 20 minutes before being rolled into the OR, calming me down and telling me about the Dr (Dr. Elowsky) that would be performing the c-section. Everything went great, and the follow-up care postpartum has been wonderful as well. Since I had pre-eclampsia, he has been very cautious and having me come in for blood pressure checks more than usual postpartum visits to ensure they are going back to normal. Honestly, I can say these guys saved my son and my life. I am so grateful for them and their care, and I couldn't recommend...
Read moreLet me begin to say that as a female, I feel disrespected, neglected and mistreated. I had my annual at the beginning of June. When I came in, I had informed the nurse that I think that I may have a yeast infection that I would like to talk to the Dr about. I also requested a hormone panel to be done. The nurse took notes. Dr. C came in and I was treated like he was going on a commercial break. He didn't mention anything to me about the hormone panel OR yeast infection. I figured everything was clear or negative. LADIES NEVER ASSUME! I got results via MyChart and it came back (WEEK LATER) that I in fact had a yeast infection. I called the office and they transferred to the nurse. The nurse said and I quote, "Oh, Dr Conboy doesn't usually treat yeast infections as they typically go away on its own." I replied that I had brought it up during my apt and she responded with " I didn't know you were having symptoms." THATS WHY I BROUGHT IT UP DURING MY APPOINTMENT. I physically had to ask to be put on medication. Document every thing, ladies like I did. MyChart will be your best friend especially when you catch the nurse in lies saying that the same nurse didn't't know who would have said that about the Dr. when it was in fact her. I am STILL waiting for the results of my hormone panel. Again, as a woman, take your health seriously and avoid...
