I always had excellent service. This time I actually felt kinda ignored. Like I was inconveniencing them at the garage service desk. At first I thought they were very busy, but I noticed I was the only one in the service area. Nobody was even in the waiting room. They said they would call me when the vehicle was ready. I waited till late the next day and figured I'd better give a call. They said it was just finished and they had my paperwork ready. When I got there they said they'd have to do the paperwork. Then they found the paperwork that was done. I went in there with a good attitude but left filling I was just somebody that never did a lick of business with them. In 9 yrs I believe I bought 5 new vehicles. It was like pulling teeth that day even when I asked to verify what was all done that day. Some answers seem kinda lame. I think, they forget sometimes, they can baffle alot of people with some of the work they do, but some people worked in the same field for years and can see right through this. I believe it might just be a courtesy but I always had my truck washed when I got it back, but this time I recieved it back with mud still on it. It means alot to me and everyone I know when they get back their vehicle, washed. My daughter came back the next day after an oil change a had her car washed. Maybe they all had a bad day that day. You asked for my experience and review, so here you have it. Like I said, my past experiences...
Read moreLast week, I had an oil change done to our F-350 pick-up at Dean Arbour Ford, in Tawas, MI. As usual, that service was fast and professional. This time, it was done by Tony, who is in charge of the lube bay. Since moving to East Tawas in 2008, my wife, Nancy, and I have become grateful for the MANY things Dean Arbour team members have done for us...sometimes quite unexpectedly and usually FAR beyond our expectations. We've frequently found that the dealer's Service Manager, Bob Walter, has an excellent staff. His wash rack members, service technicians (namely Rick, T.J., Mike, and Randy), service writer (Melissa), Assistant Service Manager (Jim Meadows), and Parts Department (headed by Tina) all work together VERY well in making the "servicing of vehicles" at Dean Arbour a good experience. I also "take my hat off" to the dealership's receptionist (Sandy), ALL members of the office staff, and the GM's sales staff--in particular, to Salesman Craig Harriman. Through Arbour sales folks, we've had the pleasure to buy: a new, Ford vehicle from the dealership; a used, NON-Ford vehicle from the dealership; and a new, Ford vehicle (only available with Arbour assistance) by travelling to Weiser, Idaho. In our estimate, Dean Arbour Ford is a very valuable "stake holder" in our community and one worthy of at least as much support as it provides!!! Ralph and Nancy Bodenner. ...
Read moreAs a planned routine and keeping with recommended maintenance, again this visit to the service department was to perform routine maintenance on my 2011- F 150. Tune Up service requested and completed. All were acceptable. Dean Arbour has done vehicle maintenance and inspections on this vehicle on prior occasions, leaving little to be questioned. This is another instance of routine work repetitively done with good results.... December 13 2021 - Reviewing and posting again - with the same or similar comments as posted above. I always take my vehicles to Dean Arbour for service and receive proper and capable service each time.... These are my comments now and I am sure the same in the future. If something is new or different, I will repost.... May 05 2022 Same quality maintenance service on Ford 2011 F-150.. Re: Transmission and 4WD fluid flush and refill. Thanks for reading !...
