You can rest assured that there are no fleas at this flea market. It's a cool place for strolling around the dozens upon dozens stalls inside rather than an open flea market. There are ATMs, non chain eateries, fresh fruit and crabs stalls and a homey inner-city atmosphere. The parking lot is huge but it fills up tight near the one entrance, the fee is .25 cents PP. Blacks make most of the crowd, but if being around black folks intimidate you, these folks are cool and extremely friendly. I've never seen an argument or fight. Note: if you're not shy, negotiate your price. Some vendors won't move on a price, walk away and find one that does. Most foreign vendors negotiate, I've not met an American that does. Rarely I've paid full price those vendors just want to sell given that the market opens only sat & sun.
Clothes, cell phones and attachments, Western store, toys, perfumes, dj equipment, pet store, pc and mobile phone repair, wigs, used tools, hundreds of house wears, travel bags, suit cases, caps, sunglasses, gloves, hats, etc. It's all and more here. Nearby there are ethnic and American food restaurants, a BK, gas stations, 24 hr laundry, Roses store, banks, metro PCS, cricket, and on. Safety seems good mostly for the market closes 5. Very important! Most if not all vendors...

Read moreIf it were possible to give this place NO STARS, I definitely would. Upon pulling off of the road & into the parking lot.. my hopes were already wavering. Trying to find a parking space that you can fit your car into is a challenge. The outside of the building looks run-down and dirty. Walking into the building took my breath away.. an odor mixed between incense, cheap perfume, a dirty cat litter box and the weird stench of scented feminine menstrual pads. DISGUSTING. Trying to bear the smell we walked from one end of the building to the other, looking at all kinds of counterfeit goods - supposed "Nike" and "Jordan" shoes, along with "Louis Vuitton" purses. Some vendors actually had things worth looking at, but with the smell and the other customers nearly shoving you out of the way - stopping to look at the wares wasn't worth the fight. I wouldn't recommend using a debit card there if you have a choice, it just seems really dark & sketchy - I wouldn't risk your info being stolen. All-in-all.. this place is very run-down, sketchy, dirty, smelly and...
