Blue Crab Express & Cafe Carryout — Restaurant in Baltimore

I haven't been at this place in years when I use to ordered from them all the time when I lived close by, but like a week ago when I were in the area I decided to stop by to get myself some crabs. I ordered myself 2 dozens of male crabs they were medium size for $90 dollars. I really wanted female crabs, but they didn't have anymore so I got male crabs instead. My downfall is that most of my crabs were light out the whole 2 dozens of the male crabs that I ordered like 9 or 10 crabs were good, but the rest were light. I was disappointed because like I said before I don't lived close by so I couldn't went back and got myself better crabs. I just through the rest in the trash what a waste of money that I paid $90 dollars for 2 dozens of males crabs, instead of medium size they should have been large size because the price I paid for. But other than that there customer service is on point the owner he's nice but the prices could be a lot better and there...

My wife and I went to this place today after the visiting the crab cake place at the flea market the store was closed. We figured we would give this place a try. I should have got back in my car when I noticed how dirty the outside of the building was. It didn't get any better once inside. The place was cluttered with liquor boxes piled to the ceiling. We selected two jumbo crabcakes that took 15 minutes to cook. As I waited I noticed blue crabs sitting in an open basket with flies abundant and no ice anywhere to be found. We get our crabcakes and continue our drive. As we open the boxes about 30 minutes into our drive we cut into the crabcake and an awful smell of ammonia permeates from the box. Obviously this food was spoiled. Long story short do not even attempt to eat...

Absolutely disgusting! First of all when I walked in, there were so many boxes piled up on the wall by the door. Like a ridiculous amount of them. Then when I figured out I needed to walk around near back to get to the crabs, It was a lot of gnats and flies surrounding the crabs. The place looked very unkept, unsanitary, an uninviting. There was a group of people, few homeless and bums, just sitting (where I assume it to be for you to eat your crabs, if you wanted to stay) drinking and loitering.
