Today is June 27th Friday I’m still sitting infront of the nail salon with half nails done I didn’t want to forget to write a review and this is my third time coming here the first time a young nail tech deliberately cut my skin I was bleeding this was a few months ago and she was very racist so I called the owner he said he would do my nails over so I came and he did just that the next time I came I asked for the owner specifically because I did not want to go to anyone because of the last experience so the third time I came the owner did my nails hisself and in the middle of him doing my nails he accused me of messing my nails up when I’m reality the gel machine was so hot it made the paint mess up from the heat also he got mad because I wanted my nails a certain way so he tried to make me get what he wanted me to get so from that point on he was quiet and rude and I left uncomfortable and I just wanted to to I told myself that I wasn’t going to go anymore but because I was in the area and I haven’t had my nails done in 3 months i decided to call and go when I got there I sat down to get a pedicure done and the lady looked like she felt uncomfortable which made me just stay to myself then she took me over to do an overlay with pink acrylic and white tips apparently they did not have the nude acrylic I wanted I get the same thing all the time I just wanted a different color this time because someone told me it’s pretty so me and the lady was vibing until I wanted my nails a certain way then when it’s time for her to do the white tips it completely looks a mess I have photos from every time I went because I’m a content creator and I always vlog which I’m gonna vlog about how racist this nail salon is and how rude they are to black people I sit back and watch of course they don’t like black people but in our country so back to what happened she did not do my white tips correctly they were bumpy and a mess then the other nail tech had to do it for her but she did it worse so I told her what was wrong that I was looking at she fixed it then she proceeded to do the rest of my nails and I mean it was a mess if it was nice and cute I would have gotten my nails finished so she stopped doing my nails didn’t e en wipe all of the white paint off and she said she couldn’t do it nomore I said why not she said because you don’t like it I said okay so you not gonna do it the way I want she said no called her boss he comes over and said what’s wrong I said I don’t like it she’s not doing it correctly he immediately accused me of being a problem instead of fixing my nails as a Buisness owner and a nail tech that’s what he should have did but instead he started to talk about all the times I came so I stopped him right there and explained infront I of the remaining customers what exactly happened I really was upset and told him how I felt and told him that I was gonna give a bad review and I left when I left he started to laugh and talk about me to the remaining people in the nail salon I said some words to him and went to my car I will never in my life go back here matter of fact he told me I can’t come back because they can not help me out with what I want now I have to go somewhere else and get my nails finished and I’m gonna go on help as well and...
Read more——————— So I’ve been to this salon about 4-5x and have had worked done by 3-4 techs. My first 2-3 experiences were great. Pros- have a variety of services. They can usually accommodate a same day appt if I call before arriving tho might have a slight wait which is to be expected for last min appt. The place is well taken care of. And is in a quiet location with fair amount of parking. Cons- I noticed with my last 2 experiences the quality of my nail job was slightly decreased. My last appt which was several months ago (d/t taking a break from to let my natural nails grow) , I noticed my nail job only lasted about 3-4 days prior to chipping. (Note I do work in healthcare and wash my hands frequently but for comparisons purpose, my prior nails were able to last 7-10+ days before any chipping.) Today I called to do a gel mani w/pedi. I noticed the gentleman did not clean under the nails. I brought it to his attention before he starting adding the clear base coat and he informed he would do it before completing, which he never did. I was also left with polish on the side of my nails. After leaving the salon, my pointer finger had a slight ache and I noticed I was nicked when he did my cuticle care. Last but least, he did not allow my nails to cure for the full duration which I fear will lead to a short duration of this nail job. Needless to say, I gave it 4 stars bc of my first few experiences here but will likely not be returning due to inconsistency in work between the different techs on my last 2 trips. Read moreMy best friend booked a jelly pedicure service here. The assigned nail technician that serviced her was unskilled and unprofessional. The technician did not wear gloves throughout the entire service. The technician also had to be advised by neighboring technicians and my friend on how to apply polish. One of the neighboring technicians apologized profusely to my friend and continued to correct the assigned technician. The assigned technician didn't file properly either. When it came time for the assigned technician to remove calluses from my friend's feet, the soles of her feet where extremely red and tender to touch. When we brought these issues to the manager, the manager was kind enough to discount 10% from the cost of service. Less than 24 hours later, the polish on my friend's toes started to peel which indicates poor quality perform on the pedicure. When this concern was later brought to the manager's attention, the manager dismissed the requested remedy of the issue by stating it was their "policy" and that the amount of labor that went into the pedicure was justifiable of having the polish reapplied correctly. The manager did not explain what the "policy" is, and also it is difficult for someone to come in when one is no longer in the area. As quoted from the website "POLISHED NAIL SPA ALWAYS DOES OUR BEST IN DELIVERING THE BEST NAILS WITH HIGH QUALITY AND WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE," this nail technician failed to live up to "high quality" and the unreasonable remedy suggested by management doesn't yield "wornderful customer service."
