What a great layout! Someone gave considerable thought to what activities children enjoy and need for mental and physical exercise and growth. There are two areas--one that strategically supports the younger two to five year olds (and clearly designates adult supervision recommended) and the rest of the playground that offers benches located with good sightlines so that older children can play more freely while being observed by their parents or caregivers. A small pavilion offers shade near the entrance/exit--there's only one way in and one way out. The entire playground is fenced in. There's much to spark a kid's imagination and plenty of room for made up, child-directed games. It's a really nice environment for children to learn social skills and make friends. I've taken two sets of children over the past four years and it is a consistently clean, well-maintained facility. Kudos to those who made this playground possible and thanks to those who keep the equipment in good operating condition.

Read moreMy son and I come to this playground often. I love that its enclosed in the gate and I also love the tables outside of the play area. I wish they would fix the picnic tables because I always think they are going to collapse at any moment. There is a pretty diverse group that comes here. They also have a specified place for the smaller kids which is nice. There is also always a place to park when I get there. I wish there was some sort of water, or snack, or food truck or something. We just bring our own...
Read moreHad to come back and change my review....Love it there, such a great place but the woman inside the YMCA wouldn't let me use the bathroom even when I insisted on giving her my information because I am a member of the Y. She kept telling me to use the portable bathrooms outside. Idk if she did this because she was having a bad day, didnt want to do her job, or because of my skin color but regardless it will be a while before I come back and bring my little ones...
