So we called to get our stove fixed assuming they were a authorized repair center for Samsung. Short answer NO . Set that aside. Called told them exactly what was wrong with stove (relay on main board) was told they could fix that but they had to diagnose first. ($100)And fee would go toward repair. They came out. Tec checked the 120/240 on stove then didn't let the electric discharge from his meter and sparks flew all over my kitchen. I asked what I typed and he confirmed yes that's what happen. Set that aside. He then comes to the conclusion that I already diagnosed. Then had every excuse why it should not be repaired. Stove is 1 year 2 weeks old . The board needed is $240.here is list of excuses 1 the board will go bad again 2 go have Samsung replace it even though out of warranty 3 buy the parts and fix it yourself 4 just go buy a new stove this one is a bad brand 5 parts out of stock who knows when the part will be in stock. ( It's in stock) Then charged us $100 left no documentation or anything . I called the next day aka today and he didn't even write down anything about the stove not the model number , part number or anything. When I brought this to campanys attention they were surprised at the laziness of the owners son . He has no schooling on appliance repair and is 4 years out of school he graduated highschool in 2020he told me. I gave them an option for refund or review they chose review
Review update: another company came out had the right parts on hand and fixed stove. The Collins tec was wrong and told me the bottom heating element was just a warmer and not really needed ! Well that element was fixed by another company today.
Good luck hopefully that text goes to school to...
Read moreI was on the fence about writing this review, but when I saw another review with basically the same complaint against the same technician for the exact same reason as me I feel like I needed to. Kevin came to my home to look at a washer that is less than a year old. He actually came within an hour of the washer breaking which was awesome. He diagnosed the washer with a broken door lock and control panel and quoted $400. I didn’t realize I needed to have an actual GE tech for my warranty. So I paid Kevin the $100 service fee and called the warranty in. Then I realized Kevin left the washer taken apart and loose screws everywhere. When the warranty company came out to do the repair they stated that it was the drain that needed replaced but they wouldn’t do the work because with missing screws the warranty is voided. So now I don’t know what’s actually wrong with it and it’s in pieces. So now me and my three kids have been without a washer for a month from this back and forth and I just ended up buying a new one. Seriously take the extra five minutes to screw the appliances back together. Very unprofessional. Now a very new washer is headed...
Read moreWe have a Whirlpool Gold Series refrigerator that started beeping today like the door was open. It wouldn’t allow us to do anything with the controls, they just kept flashing. We unplugged to do a hard reset but when we plugged it back in it started right up beeping. After a quick research for local repairman, we called & explained & they fit us in the same day!!
Luckily they did as there was a short in the drawer temp controller & Kevin said it would have resulted in a fire. He further explained it was a fancy but really unnecessary part to adjust drawer temp, but without it, it goes right to a default temp so it wasn’t worth paying the $450 for a part to replace it. Unplugged it is safe & operates fine. Now with a very fair charge for his time & knowledge, we have peace in our house & no risk of the fire that was impending.
If you need trustworthy & fair appliance & repair we HIGHLY recommend this business. Our thanks also to his wife that urged him to fit in one more repair today!! I hate to think where we would have been...
