Many reasons I will give this tavern a 5 star review. Not only is the owner a nice person and the staff AMAZING, he caters to ALL walks of life. If you want to come watch a game, awesome. have a beer, yeppers. Have a nice meal that is homemade and hot, gotcha there too. NOW, some people have noticed that this establishment may offer Drag Queen Bingos shows on particular nights. That does not mean he has them there ALL THE TIME! If that isn't your cup of tea, don't go on the advertised show nights. How simple is that!! Go figure! If a restaurant was only serving liver and onions one Tuesday a month, I wouldn't go on that night because I don't like liver and onions. Period. Contrary to what some believe drag queens and people who are LBGQT+ do NOT recruit and do not push their beliefs and orientations onto other people ( unlike some people of certain faiths and religions). So, to each their own, but to miss out on going some place because they offer something you don't like 1 night a month is preposterous. The only person you are "hurting" is yourself because now everyone knows how close...
Read moreMy first time here. Thursday night there were not many patrons, in fact, when my group of 6 left, we were the only ones there. This meant we had exclusive service from the bartender. She did a great job taking care of our table.
The atmosphere is bright and friendly, the place is clean and welcoming. They have a half dozen beers on tap, most of them from Millersburg Brewing Company. The menu is typical "bar" food with many of the items hot dogs or sausage sandwiches and other hand helds. I chose the fire dog. An all beef dog covered with coney sauce and ample jalapeños to give it some heat. Tater tots were crisp and not mushy. My friend had the meatballs and said it was pretty good. I enjoyed my time and...
Read moreThe PreGame Tavern, once a beacon of revelry, seems to be on a disheartening descent. The palpable decline is not only reflected in the subdued atmosphere but also in the unfortunate state of its facilities. The bathrooms, once a sanctuary of cleanliness, now bear witness to neglect, and the overall hygiene leaves much to be desired. As a concerned patron, one can only hope for a revival of the tavern's former glory. The potential for improvement is vast, and a commitment to refurbishing both ambiance and amenities could undoubtedly resurrect The PreGame Tavern to its once-celebrated status. Here's to the optimistic aspiration that they take heed and elevate their establishment to...
