Block 7 Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Barberton

Ordered Takeout: We just decided to order food from some place in Barberton we hadn't had before. We ordered the chicken quesadilla, surf and turf dinner, and fish dinner. It was ready in about 20 minutes. When we got home and checked out our meal it lookef just a bit boring.

The steak was decent sized, a little bland, salad was a little wilty, there was a baked potato and it had 3 breaded shrimp which were decent sized too. The fish dinner consisted of 3 triangular flat pieces of fish, coleslaw, and fries. The fish was just okay, obviously just the frozen, heated up again kind. The coleslaw was awful. It had chunks of green pepper, onion, and some slaw covered in a sweet and sour dressing. The fries were good though, the bigger mushy kind (which are my favorite, not everyone's bag obviously). And the chicken quesadilla was just cheddar cheese, lettuce, chunks of tomato and some bland peppered chicken chunks, served with salsa and sour cream.

So I can't speak about the atmosphere of the bar, but there was a lot of food and it was okay. Definitely quantity over quality. It may have been a lot better eaten straight from the kitchen, but that wouldn't have added any flavor to the dishes.

The food and atmosphere here is OK. I would come to this bar weekly for karaoke, but the bartenders make me stay away. There is one bartender with really long hair that won’t serve you if you are female or if you aren’t one of her friends. I had been standing at the end of the bar waiting to order and we made direct eye contact. She wasn’t busy, but then decided to start speaking with a couple of guys in front of her and do a shot with them. I had to walk all the way down to the middle of the bar where she was and stand right in front of her to ask to order. The ONLY redeeming quality about this place is the KJ. I always look forward to seeing his kind and friendly face if I stop in. He is professional and knows...

We are in a national pandemic and this bar has no social distancing, customers are literally sitting on top of each other at tables and the bar. There is no dividers up at the bar or protection of any kind! Including the bartenders bar backs and owners who don’t wear masks while serving customers!!!!

Unless you are the bartenders or bar backs friends you won’t be served. Prepared to wait over an hour for your food and when your food comes out it’s cold and salty.

Don’t even think about commenting on any of the above or the food because the employees/owners will just tell you you’re lying and there’s nothing wrong with their establishment/Employees!
