Ordered two new rifles at the same time on 01-02-2023. A Savage 93 in .17 HMR and a Savage 93 in .22 WMR. They were shipped together by Fed Ex to my local FFL/Gun Club. When they arrived the large outer box was opened at which time, I noticed the .22 box was damaged. The end flap with the label was ripped open. Upon opening the box, I noticed the plastic bag the rifle was in had a large hole torn in it, the bolt was installed in the rifle and it was soaked in oil. The red plastic empty chamber indicator was missing from the box apparently because the bolt had been installed. The barrel thread protector was just loose in the box. The bolt face & extractor showed brass marks on them from cycling numerous rounds. Small pieces of brass flakes were all over the inside of the receiver. Upon checking the .17 it was packaged just like a new rifle should be from the factory. Bolt was not installed or oiled. Empty chamber indicator in place, thread protector installed on the barrel, bolt in it plastic bag. No signs of any use at all. I contacted customer service and sent them pictures. Their response was "it left their facility as a new gun, and they have no control over what happens to it while in transit. The CS manager basically said Fed Ex driver must have opened the box and fired the weapon then resealed it before delivering to the FFL. They are not willing to take the rifle back and replace it with a new one. ++++++++++UPDATE 01-24-23++++++++++++ I received a replacement yesterday. It was perfectly packaged like a new gun should be. It took getting the BBB, GM, and Owner involved to make it happen. It's sad that it had to come to that, but the CS manager was no help and apparently thought that I would just go away. I run a business myself and taking care of your customers is how you get repeat business.

I previously had a problem with a Remington 597 22 Magnum that I purchased from The Kentucky Gun Company. The rifle itself was confirmed to be defective from the factory (no fault of TKGC). After working with Patrick and his Team, they recommended a CZ 512 American 22 Magnum as an alternate. Yesterday, I made the 3 1/2 hour drive back down to Bardstown and picked up the CZ 512. I got it home just before dark, slapped on my Burris Fullfield E1 scope, then ran 25 rounds through it. My last 15 were all in the bullseye at 50 yards using Hornady 30 grain V-Max rounds. I want to express my thanks and gratitude to the employees of The Kentucky Gun Company for their assistance. Most notably Patrick for listening to a customer, and especially Gene, who spent at least 45 minutes with me at the counter, answering all of my questions and ensuring that I had everything (rail, ammo, etc.) I needed before I left - great customer service. The 22 Magnum is an odd caliber/round, but exactly what I need for varmint. Anyone considering a 22 Mag should definitely look at the CZ 512 with Turkish Walnut stock, it's made very well and is extremely consistent/accurate, especially for a smaller semi-automatic rifle. That, and the rifle was test fired before I picked it up and the ballistics chart placed inside the box, which was certainly reassuring.

KYGUNCO in Bardstown is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive places I’ve ever visited. Imagine an amazing place and multiply that by 100, or even more. This is a place for serious, responsible people. The variety of guns and ammunition is absolutely massive, with products you wouldn’t even imagine until you see them in person. As someone from another country, it was a surprising experience, almost like being a kid again at a theme park. In addition to the guns, the hunting equipment I found here is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the motorcycles and UTVs on display. The quality of the place and the products is remarkable, something you can only find in the U.S. There’s a distinct sense of excellence here, and the standard is very different from what you see in other countries. It’s not just the size of the store that’s impressive but also the attention to detail and the exclusive items you can spend hours exploring. I left extremely happy and impressed with everything I saw. KYGUNCO provided an experience that exceeded all my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to returning as soon as possible. This is absolutely a must-visit for anyone interested in firearms, hunting, or vehicles.

I really don't know where to start because this is not even a review this is a public complaint agaisnt this company. Today 3/16/2024 i was treated in the most disrespectfull way by the manager of this store i was humiliated by this company. I went in this store to buy a suppressor they were the only dealer that had the suppressor i wanted in stock so i drive to bardstown from Louisville and i walked inside grab a number and start to wait in line after almost 30 minutes in line i was approached by a lady that claimed she was the manager and she tells me that she cannot sell me a firearm because i was seen in the parking lot receiving money from another person and that i was making a straw purchase. Funny because i wanted a suppressor not a firearm but she falsely accused me and i told her that she must be confused or the person that supposedly saw me must have confused me with another person and she insisted that it was me since the description she received was clear it was me and i asked her to please check the cameras and she refused and she kept falsely accusing me of being there to make a straw purchase without any kind of proof and i said that i was treated like this because i was being racially profiled since i'm cuban so i'm hispanic she said it was not about race and she was just being looking after the business so i just walked out of that store but this will not end here i will take any legal action i can and i expect at least an apology from this company. I will make this complaint in every possible place that i can since i was humiliated and falsely accused and that is called defamation. If you are hispanic don't go to this store they are racist and will treat you like garbage. And the only thing i asked that manager was to please check the cameras so she can see that it was not me but i guess is easier to just believe anything you are told and make judgment calls based on a peron's race since you can clearly tell that I'm latino. I've been a customer with this company for many years and they lost a loyal customer today i will never do business with them again. I'm very affected by this and I'm very offended that i was treated this way. I was treated like a criminal for no reason. They even refused to sell me ammo. I really hope somebody that actualy cares about this company and it's customers reaches out to me and iffers me an apolo.gy. i have been a customer since 2016 even before i moved to kentucky i was buying from this company online and since i moved to kentucky i have bought severas firearms from this company as well as ammo and accesories. To then be treated like a criminal this is humiliating. Accused of trying to make a straw purchase really??? All i wanted was a suppressor somthing that you have to wait more than 6 months to get. I was wrongly accused and humiliated by...

Updated ! I have now purchased over 8 firearms from the Kentucky gun company. They're absolutely fantastic and they are the first place I look if I'm going to buy a firearm. They consistently have the best prices and their shipping is lightning fast. Here is my original review : The Kentucky gun company is the best ! ! I could barely find this rifle anywhere online. After looking for hours, I found it at an auction website for $1700. Found it here at Kentucky gun company for around $1350. I did not know anything about this company. They're listed in the better Business bureau as a fantastic company. So, I took a chance and ordered this rifle Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. going into a holiday weekend. So, that means they really didn't receive the order until Friday morning. They received my order, processed it, and shipped this rifle before close of business Friday !! That's 1 day ! Monday was a holiday and I received my brand new rifle early Wednesday afternoon. They already had my FFL dealer's info on file so I did not have to mess around with getting them paperwork like other companies. Some companies have you're running around faxing or emailing you're FFL paperwork to them and half the time they don't receive it the first time and you have to send it again. The rifle showed up in perfect condition. Over many years I have purchased many firearms online through different companies. But, this was the absolute best experience out of all of them. This will not be the last firearm I purchased from Kentucky gun company, it is...
